i was looking at the debate below... and lol.. come on tevin campbell is undeniably the most vocally gifted out of this group.. his only weakness is he always overreaches, trying to emulate aretha/female runs. I mean he is technically flawless. He can belt to the fifth octave, his highest note is a soprano d6 and he is by all standards has a great tenor irrespective of genre. You might say Tevin's music never matured, but vocally he is one of the all time greats. Its as simple as that..

Just listening to the soul of these voices, today the r&b voices of men don't have the same variety. Every voice that you hear on here is very different. Some have high voices some have that low soulful sound and some are in the middle. We don't really have the same options today. Most male r&b voices are high ranged with a lot of riffs and runs.
