@TomahawkTrix I'm using 360 with no patches and every time i do the glitch it works but ends up crashing my game.

I use the glitch only once and make the set 52% stronger and even then i freeze up.

What am i missing? Should all things but potions and alch set be unequipped? What is an ideal percentage to get on the set without over doing it?

@TomahawkTrix i have a question, the upgraded stats on the apparel, are they permant on the alchemy set? i guessed because your only drinking potions theyre not and i had my gear improved but now they have downgraded, is there any way to make them permanent?

@alanredman01 Yes, follow the tutorial - it shows you that if you drink the potion and unequip and re equip the item durting the potions 60 seconds thats the effects will stay. the effects dont appear to stay - however when you look under magic in active effects they do. so as long as you levae them on then the extra effect is there

So is the following correct?

1 - create fortify restoration potion wearing 5 pc alchemy set

2 - un-equip alchemy set

3 - drink potion

4 - re-equip alchemy set

5 - make new, even better fortify restoration potion

6 - repeat steps 2 through 5 as many times as you can

7 - make fortify smithing / enchanting potions while on super-boosted alchemy skills

Does it matter if you switch steps 3 and 4? (i.e. drink the potion while still wearing the alchemy set, then un-equip and re-equip the set)

@mattfredfry sounds about right - Im not entirely sure if 3 and 4 are interchangeable but i think they actually are. so long as you are under the effects (within 60 seconds) and you unequip and requip then your good to go

@xlAbrahamlx thats a head scratcher , just refollow the steps and try again, Its alittle advanced and so there is room to go wrong. A little practise and you should get it down

why is it that when i go to get more ingredients and come back and make more restoration potions it makes my charge go back down? like i leave with each item saying created potions are 104% more powerful then when i make another a bit later it goes back down to 60% each?

@blaketheginger because you need to drink multiple potions every time..it resets if you take off the items ..so if you want to do it again your going to need to start from scratch every time.. have enough ingredients to drink lots of fortify restoration at once and whatever you get will stay if you follow the process. you cannot go back and just drink 1 later or as you say it resets

@stubbsie2k11 The gear appears to have reduced effects in your inventory but go to magic and look under active effects - the effects are retained and you should see that represented there.

This is very much like a mechanic back in Morrowind to craft potions of fortify intelligence, which boosted Alchemy. Crafting potions with massive effects that had durations in years. Nice guide.

One note on armor values, anything over 585, including hidden armor bonuses, has no effect on damage received, as damage reduction is capped at 80%.

@TwinTn you should think of it like this: nothing you have done here is irreversible. Take off the enchanted clothes and they go back to normal - throw away your power potions and your back to skyrim as usual. :) cheer up

@TheLegandHawx I suppose its possible that the ogma infinium glitch is conflicting? try it with a more powerful alchemy gear set - enchant the alchemy gfear set with a stronger potion like to 20% one in the tutorial

@jackattack20000 Its not a case of can't, of course I can however the dragon one shotting is designed to exemplify how you can boost weapons to big levels. So if thats not your bag, 1000 carry weight armour might be how you use this glitch.

@tinyraskalG yeah apply the process in the video with a pair of boots that are enchanted with fortify carry wieght to multiple that effect - this increases your carry weight nicely. Just dont ever take them off or you'll be overloaded. I use orcish boots of the ox so they start with 45 - a good starting point before the mutliplier

@MrSmoOoRii the enhancements stay for as long as you wear the gear..dont unequip it and you wont lose the effects. In the main part of the inventory it will appear as though its run out, however go to magic and look under active affects..you will see all the enhancemnets are still applied until you enequip the gear.
