Also another thing that i have always noticed was that when it comes down to the statues that we are shown, there are usually more that one statue shown that are supposed to be of the same person. Why is it that we usually have some that looks black and then we have some that look white, but they are supposed to be of the same person? The descendants of West African Negro slaves in the U.S. (who were sold by other West Africans to European slave ship owners) were always called Negroes. Then some American Negroes started calling themselves "colored" (NAACP) and the word "Negro" lost favour. But then the word "colored" lost favour and Negro organizations started calling themselves "black" in the seventies.
So the question as to what is "black" should be addressed to Farrakhan, Sharpton, Jackson etc
