@dcruz3126 I don't even measure for real. I made the stuff.....and that's where i draw the line with work. I simply do not have the time to measure. :) Just don't use a whole fuggin bunch. Works awesome. Swear to God.
@eLoveCR7 at the 8:50 mark I tell you 2/3 of a cup per load. but really i don't even measure my shit. it works killer on grease if you work in a restaurant. I wash my normal clothes with my restaurant clothes and the grease doesn't get on my normal clothes. Never before done! I found if you use too much it may leave a residue on your clothes of soap, but just don't use a shit ton.
I see many homemade detergents claim to be ok to use in HE washing machines, any idea if this would be ok to use? Also, would I simply add vinegar to the mix to use this recipe in the dishwasher?
@jiggysmb i wouldn't put this stuff in the dishwasher. I think it would turn out badly. I have one of the new shitty "Green" washing machines and my clothes turn out friggin perfect. I don't think this stuff would hurt any laundry washing machine, but the dishwasher would clog up or something not good. But you should give it a whirl and tell us if it breaks your kitchen appliances! It would be good to know.....but I'm not paying for the damages :P
I was shocked,at our local IGA these Zote pink 14 oz bars were $.59 cents.I got 10 bars.I love that soap.It is great for laundry and I make dish soap out of it too.Just like laundry, only I also added 2 bars of ivory along with the zote. And added 1 bottle of cheap dish liquid to help break the water tention so there isn't the usual oily film everybody gets from it.Then it works great, and no film. Also if you'll add some liquid laundry soap to the homemade laundry,it too will be more better.
Brilliant! Makes you wonder why these soap manufacturers charge so much money for laundry liquid
