Did you know that there is a mod out that allows you to move free standing objects like boats and planes. With that in mind, you could technically put this baby out to sea and go on an ocean adventure. Also, there is a mod that allows you to make anti aircraft cannons, as well as flak guns that all work. You could in fact recreate a naval battle.

@SakarianOutcast I could. But the ship is hull goes 11 blocks below the waterline, and it is 263 blocks long - finding a large and deep enough ocean could be tricky. :P

Are those mods limited to a certain number of blocks/size? If not, I might try it out.

@andymanten I do not believe there is a limit. I suppose the only limit would be your operating system, whether it could handle the movement of so many blocks at once. As far as the ocen goes, I would simply raise the boat into the sky and go look for a large enough area. That's another fun aspect of the mod, it allows you to move your creations to more manageable areas. The mod only adds maybe two blocks and it's pretty easy "sailing" from there.

@Connor1234567Lundeen Nah, it's a custom/random flag. The Japanese flag looked weird; 6-block-height isn't enough to make it look good. :(

@yomom284 Open your world with MCedit, and import the .schematic file to MCedit. Place the ship, save the world, done. You should google it if you are still confused.

@Coloski360 In-game worldedit. I built this on a server that had the worldedit plugin installed, made all the tedious tasks much easier (like removing water.) :)

it's beautiful... The Yamato is best battleship there was, the last light of hope the Japanese faced towards the end of war was the Yamato. They sent it to Okinawa in hopes of running her aground so that the ship wouldn't sink and she would be a floating fortress. But before she made it, she made contact with US Bombers and was sunk just Kyushu Island. okay i think maybe thats why i love this ship so much... i know too much..

@Connor1234567Lundeen Lol the book may have been right about the bombs, but there were also at least 10 torpedo hits. Without the torpedos the bombs wouldn't have come close to sinking a ship that size.
