god, i love labs. My lab does the same thing with his water bowl! and if he hears a sink or a bath turn on upstairs, he'll wait at the bottom of the stairs and whine because he cant play with the water haha

He's a water dog for certain. Once the water's gone, the dog seems to think the reflection of the stainless steel dish still means there must be water in it, I would assume.

Lol he's funny! :D But I know a lab that does the same thing. :) Once, when we got our doggy, a neighbor came to visit us, and brought her dog with her! :D (Her dog is a lab). The both dogs went just so happy! They ran around our yard, playing, jumping...for some times, they stopped, and the neighbors' dog put her paws in a plastic bowl that we had left in the grass, and the bowl had some water in it. :D She splashed (like your dog) and drunk the water. My dog did it as well. It was funny! :D

Yep, your'e right, it's definately a Lab thing. Our Black Labrador, Bronson, did the same thing as a pup. He has slowly grown out of it though. Aren't Labs the sweetest. Labs Rule! :D
