Risks of Jailbreaking your iPad, iPod touch, or your iPhone

There's nothing bad about jail breaking your iPod I did it to mine on iOS 5.0.1 and nothing has gone wrong with it and it is completely legal. My advice would be to jailbreak your iPod/iPhone/iPad it's the best thing you can do for you idevice and if you want some cydia sources message me :)

Ok your like a little 11 year old who jailbreaks their ipod. Use your ipod wisely. Not every kid has one. And i highly doubt u paid for that ipod urself. Oh and everybody who keeps commenting that its a phone, its a fucking ipod!!!

Is it true that when you jailbreak you can't connect to the internet? When I saw you scrolling through the pictures and you showed the wifi bar, I am assuming that you can still go on the internet. i jailbroke my ipod touch with no problem whatsoever actually come to think of it it was the only time that customizing a system of mine that was easy, i did the cfw jailbreak for my psp that was a nightmare, thank god i got it working. now i have custom characters in dissidia or different costumes at least.

@namdude0373 it was weird though according to a good many other comments on the same program i was one of the few that didn't get screwed. others had lock ups, crashes the the device going back to default. one guy said you need a patch or something i just plugged it in and hit a button. seemed like i was one of the luckier ones. usually i'm the one that ends up fighting with the device for hours on end. i am grateful though.

I just realized this, but another risk is it lags a little for me, but i deleted some launch daemons which sped it up a LOT, it allowed certain apps not a lag near as much so they worked at least a little.

@unclerayray64 restoring it pretty much puts it back to normal. If you mess up on anything just restore it. I might make a tutorial soon on how to jailbreak 4.2.1 via Greenp0ison. But before u jailbreak syn it so if u mess up then u wont lose anything when u restore

First of all, kid, learn your english. Second of all, some of this stuff is total crap. Jailbreaking an IOS device does not void it's warrant if you bought it from apple. I have jailbroken my iPod touch about 10 times and i've gone into an apple store to see what they would do about the jailbreak. If you tell them you have a software issue, they will see that you have it jailbroken, and all they will do is restore your iPod and give it back. There is no risk, unless you get free apps.

The MAIN reason for jailbreaking is free apps and themes.

@Maxxorbob (1/2) I recently lost the jailbreak on my iPod touch and the iPod was a bit faster but i had a little annoying issues that i fixed within a day, my iPod was crashing every 30 seconds because i didnt finish a big app download, although i think the risk is smaller if you do less mods, like no themes and so on, thats what i did because of it being really slow so all i did was download cracked apps for Installous and put a battery percentage.
