I agree with all of your major points. It behooves the major wrestling promotions to actively protect their talent from needless risks like exposed chair shots to the head, especially when just doing traditional wrestling is risky enough. I allude to Mitsuharu Misawa who's death was largely attributed to taking many dangerous holds and moves over a couple decades. It is also natural that WWE(the corporate entity) would try to extend their influence to other entertainment ventures.
WWE's bad compared to 90's - 2006 and TNA is bad compared to 2002 - 2008, they've lost their touch, so fans instead of fighting, how about joining forces? instead of arguing about companies how about we all link together and seize the whole wrestling business? Lets get what WWE Universe and the Network want. Instead of arguing, let's concentrate in our main goal. Wrestling, end up the soap opera, we want good matches. good talented wrestlers, not cheap actors.

For those who still dont understand, Smackdown and Raw will remain wrestling shows but the name of the overall company will now be only known as WWE and will have other programing besides SD & Raw. For example u have the Disney channel that features alot of differed shows and programs that has nothing in common except the overall owner. In this case WWE will be the owner of RAW, SD, TE and other programing they will add later and will even be making their own channel.

how is it a stupid rule? the WWE is trying to make sure there wrestlers are more safe. we had many years of wrestlers in the WWE taking chair shots, flying off ladders, busted open, & you dont like the fact about them not using chair shots anymore?dont you think its been enough that we got to see those stuff for many years?Im sure a wrestler would rather love to wrestle for a long time & have a great career instead of ending it by being in a wheel chair or permanent brain damage .

Another reason why the fine for chair shots is stupid is because if you look at any reference or parody that has been done of WWE it has involved someone being hit with a chair thats like the thing that everyone thinks when they think WWE along with probably Hulk Hogan and when it was WWF probably Hulk Hogan hitting a Panda with a steel chair but still my point remains.

Dude ive watched your vids for a while and they have been cool but now your comments against fans complainin the HHH/Taker fine are completely unfair and basically your talking out of your backside. I get the concept to prevent injury but thats not the reason WWE utilize this new rule its the PG rating and the new fans they are aiming for. If HHH and Taker is to be fined now fine them both and any other star for ANY chair shot they gave or got in their entire career with WWE.

wwe fines for chair shots to the head but what about all the other thing done with a steel chair, they're fine with: a chair being thrown, moves performed on a chair, char shots to the back,abdomen,arms and legs. a broken rib can pierce the heart, a ruptured spinal cord can paralyse you. hell, the tombstones and pedigrees looked worse than the 1 chair shot. wwe needs to grow some balls, if you can't handle the heat, get out of the kitchen

I agree with all of your major points. It behooves the major wrestling promotions to actively protect their talent from needless risks like exposed chair shots to the head, especially when just doing traditional wrestling is risky enough. I allude to Mitsuharu Misawa who's death was largely attributed to taking many dangerous holds and moves over a couple decades. It is also natural that WWE(the corporate entity) would try to extend their influence to other entertainment ventures.

WWE's bad compared to 90's - 2006 and TNA is bad compared to 2002 - 2008, they've lost their touch, so fans instead of fighting, how about joining forces? instead of arguing about companies how about we all link together and seize the whole wrestling business? Lets get what WWE Universe and the Network want. Instead of arguing, let's concentrate in our main goal. Wrestling, end up the soap opera, we want good matches. good talented wrestlers, not cheap actors.

Irregardless, I will catch a show or two. I thought Wrestlemania was kind of meh, but I will catch some more shows, see what the new wrestling cycle brings.

Jaydub, this was a great video. I agree with every point you made. I don't get wrestling fans sometimes. Chair shots are dangerous and wouldn't you want your favorite superstar/wrestler to perform at their very best?
As far as the WWE name changing goes, as long as they have good shows on their network then all is well. People just need to wait and see what happens. Give WWE a chance first, then judge.

The Rock said if he came back full time, the WWE would have to change the PG stuff because nothing about The Rock is PG. So either they'll keep Rock on part time duty or they'll change the ratings.

Just the whole rebranding thing feels wrong. It's offensive that the WWE knowingly is turning from wrestling with a dash of entertainment to entertainment with a dash of wrestling. Why does WWE invest in the FCW system at all? They make great WRESTLERS then in WWE they don't let them WRESTLE. This whole PG/ Can't mention the word wrestling/ PR stunt no chairs to the head is contrived and correlates to Linda Mcmahon's political campaigns.

Undertaker and Triple H shouldn't be fined. It's Wrestlemania; one chair shot. Undertaker blocked it with his hands. Mick Foley never protected himself; that's why he's in that state. WWE's going to have an Extreme Rules pay per view? What will it include? Every match chair shots to the back? Vince doesn't care about the health of the wrestlers. People don't buy that do they? Vince loves the big bodied wrestlers. Vince encouraged wrestlers using steroids from the beginning.

For those who still dont understand, Smackdown and Raw will remain wrestling shows but the name of the overall company will now be only known as WWE and will have other programing besides SD & Raw. For example u have the Disney channel that features alot of differed shows and programs that has nothing in common except the overall owner. In this case WWE will be the owner of RAW, SD, TE and other programing they will add later and will even be making their own channel.

I also understand why they stopped it, look what happened to Chris Beniot, he had so many concussion's that close friends and family, such as Chavo Guerruero said himself, Chris Beniot had the mental/brain age of a child.
As for the movies, The Marine sucked, but See No Evil was good. Thats the only one I liked.

i am a little confused i thought that all matches are scripted by wwe so how is it possible they fined undertaker and HHH for a chair shot into the head (they had to know bofore the match that it will be included in it)?
