As much as I personally like McCain, he and the Republican Party are a little too cozy with the Right Wing Christian Nazi Brigade for my liking. He likes to refer to them as agents of intolerance but when push comes to shove I'm sure he'll welcome their votes and will accommodate their agenda once in power. Left with no other choice I'd rather vote for Clinton or Obama.
I would love to see your reasoning behind that. Ron Paul has 30 years experience and as of late he has been right about his financial predictions on our economy can you tell me what John McCain has been right about. I will tell you he has been right about nothing.
McCain is a fine man BUT Governor Huckabee has much more experience, more charisma, better communication skills, more fresh ideas, can generate the excitement, enthusiasm loyalty to get folks to WANT to go to the polls against the Democrats. And, he is getting independents and even democrats to like him. I know, because I'm a volunteer and I call for him....

McCain is the scum of the earth, he want to keep us in this war and said we should be prepared for more wars to come? And according to the people who served with McCain he was never tortured, he is a coward.
I can't believe you would say something like that. McCain went through hardships that you and I will never understand and came out alive yet permanently disfigured. However, he still stood by his nation and his military, unlike many other Vietnam vets. I doubt that you have ever even been incarcerated for a time even approaching how long he was tortured. What really bugs me is that you aren't an American and therefore it doesn't matter what you think. Politics aside he deserves respect.
Bush supports McCain! Need I say more? If you are happy with the status quo, vote McCain. He will keep us in this expensive war for 100 yrs, violate our civil liberties, torture us if we refuse the National ID, Tap our phones and internet etc! VOTE RON PAUL! ronpaul2008 dot com
Stupidity at it's finest. Of COURSE Bush supports McCain. Who do you think he was going to support, Obama? Bush was going to support whoever the Republican nominee was, be it McCain or Ron Paul.
Why vote for a democrat they will raise taxes, the republican will cut taxes, they will have a bigger government to take more of your freedoms away, they will allow people to breed humans for stem cell research, they will allow illegal immigrints to come across the borders and continully comit crimes and take away jobs, and they will surender the war on terror
VOTE FOR JOHN McCAIN, because the character it takes to withstand 5 years in a POW camp under conditions of starvation, torture and fear, and then come back to serve the nation once again as Mr. McCain has done, cannot be matched by anyone, don't let yourself be fooled by the fake smiles and crocodile tears of a spineless Hillary Clinton, she will trick you in anyway to get your vote... this country deserves better than Hillary Clinton as our president, this country deserves best: John McCain
My friends, can we all do Senator McCain a favor and remind the detractors of something? Regarding the "bomb bomb Iran" jingle that everyone is furious about?
If Iran gets nuclear capabilities, it's not us we have to worry about. Within microseconds of Iran purifying uranium or even drawing up missile blueprints, Israel would wipe them off the map. Israel would create the world's biggest crater before we had any idea what was happening. We wouldn't be able to stop it. John McCain knows this!
On the contrary my friend, I think McCain would do better against Hillary, because although I think Obama is a poor candidate, he is very inspiring to people and, based on what the polls say, would have a better chance at beating McCain.
Republicans want to cut taxes on corporate rich. They haven't lowered my taxes at all. They're just wall street pandering, and they want middle class taxes rich so they can fund a 2 trillion dollar war. It's unfortunate, but true.
The government takes tax money from everyone's paychecks. Many people may get it back every time tax season comes but until then, they have to live off of what they have left.
Not a Romney fan but if he helps our party great. I think the most important issue for the world's future is Global warming. McCain will be stronger on this as well as other isuues than any other candidate period! Mt son is my concern! Obama has really put a bad face on goverment. The only thing he will be able to change is raising taxes. He flip flops on policies.Immigration etc. he just wants votes doesn't care and will say what ever to get them
Mike is the only one that can beat Obama. Mac can't go up against a guy who is in his 40's, great speaker and is outside of Washington. Waht is the GOP doing-commiting suicide?
This election is shaping up to be a major disaster for the GOP. I have never seen the Republican base so angry and dispirited.
And McCain - instead of seeking to remedy this, is making it worse. Case in point - instead of reaching out and concilating the Party's conservative base, McCain has his proxies in the media actively attacking them.
Mr. McCain's father-in-law, a wealthy beer baron named James W. Hensley, gave Mr. McCain his first job out of the Navy and helped bankroll his crucial first race for Congress in 1982, enabling Mr. McCain, a political newcomer, to outspend and defeat better-known opponents. NY TIMES---FEB 21, 2000
Who is Hensley>? Who is Kemper Marley? ....dirty money that fueled McCain into the arena.
In the end, neither Hillary and Obama are electable in a general election. Once John McCain trounces either one of them in a debate, especially Obama who has firmly established his candidacy by saying absolutely nothing, he will pull ahead for good.
Thank you, here in Illinois Chicago we support McCain. Obama voted to raise taxes and supports city tax increases. He has recieved dirty money. Not the point Obma and Hillary have nothing comparable accept there mouths against McCain. He is a distiguished leader who served our country and will do right for our United States of America. He isnn't a Bush people!
What the media isn't mentioning is if John McCain can't secure the 1191 delegates needed to win, then it goes to a brokered convention where the candidates give speeches and the delegates can pick their nominee. That is why Romney "suspended" his campaign, because if it goes to a brokered convention, Romney, Huckabee, McCain, Paul are still viable. So Mike could still win.
John McCain is a fiscal conservative who has fought wasteful spending, a national security leader who fought for the winning troop surge, an advocate of protecting social security, and a leader who will appoint conservative judges.
That a boy McCain. I cannot stand all these conservitive talk show hosts talking shit about him. They're just a bunch of but hurt radical conservatives with no grasp of realism.
True, even if you disagree with him, he is conservative enough... to not vote for mcCain is to vote for Obama or hillary. President Obama... sounds like the name the leader of somalia would have.
Impressive. Now the real works starts. Keep the straight talk express and go forward answering policy questions, buckle your seatbelt, and get ready to rumble!
People also vote for him because he's relatively young, and/or they're trying to be racially sensitive. Other poor reasons people vote for him. If you want my opinion, cultural sensitivity is only good in moderation.
But the main reason I won't vote for Obama: I've NEVER heard Obama address anything on terrorism. This seems rather suspicious to me.
Obama: Change we can (but shouldn't) believe in.
John McCain for president! Heck, I'll invent a new holiday if he wins presidency.
Ron Paul is the only hope for 2012.
