This is the closest thing I have heard , tey got the whole sound write , the groove tempo, everyone else plays this song wrong. great job , coming from a life long jimmy and kenny burrel fan.
And congratulatiosns : it is not easy to inject such a strong and swingin' drive into that old horse (chicken shack!). And I love that CLEAN sound from the B3/leslie!
Keef Hartleys "Tadpole"...yum yummy..B3 par excellance...and the whole dang number grabs you ya by the ear and injects your brain with soul(hurt me!).
Mick Weaver, I believe....Battle Of The NW6..
Another awesome englishman (lte 60's)... who is still around.
I've had a very rare Model K prototype from 1935 and there was some more grunt than from a usual B3, and yes my C3 with a 1953 B2 tone generator also sounds big and fat, now I have a killer B3 from '55 and it's the best of all so far, but still, for the heritage of the Hammonds I put the good old B3 in front. Bless you for your BV sounding good. Period.
Top drawer. Everyone is resisting, despite the groove (or is it because of it), the DREADFUL overplaying that befalls so many on tunes like this. Fwiw, there are some of us that do appreciate the music/song more than the extra helping of BS...even when the pryo trips the audience out. Tighter than times in '29.
Yeah -- alright Jim. Nice solo, couldn't help but notice the crazy swing you cats have, Esp that speaker during the guitar solo. All I Could keep thinking was I hope it does not fall.
You totally turned "Chicken Shack" into your own song! And when you cover a song, that's what you're supposed to do. As always, I'm impressed. Please keep the vids coming, they're all great.
You guys are just getting better all the time. Enjoy the tight playing of the group together. Also the B3 player since I try to play the B3. Thanks for posting.

Great stuff here... These guys are cool. A Hammond B3 never sounded so nice. Lovely bass tones too.
