@hardegram - as an acappella singer myself who auditioned for the Sing Off, I couldn't disagree more. SCS formed, literally, one month before this year's auditions. You could tell that they hadn't performed enough with each other to be really tight on their arrangements. I'm not saying they were bad, but they definitely weren't the best group....quite frankly, I'm surprised they were up there at the end with Committed

@hardegram ..... Committed was much tighter on harmonies. I am not a singer but have an musical ear; and I run sound equipment. I mix vocal's ETC. Both bands were really good. SCS and Comitted are both Excellent. SCS was way better. much more prolific. not saying commited is not. I'll have to agree with buffmattky. SCS'S way of quote "unpracticing" made them the best at what they do. the jeremy dude will be around no matter what.

In my opinion, that one particularly skinny dude that did the majority of singing in this video has the best voice - out of many of the groups, not just his own. As much as I would have liked to see Street Corner Symphony win, I'm glad these guys won first, because SCS I think will do well on their own and these guys have the best chance of making it in the music industry. They are attractive young men with good voices and diversity.

I thought Committed was great, and perhaps deserving of the win; however I feel Shawn and Nicole's opinion of their performances were biased since they both were in the R&B/Pop field. They continued to laud their performances (with the exception of the Police song), and didn't give enough credit to Street Corner Symphony who was consistently great. I think they got their personal tastes for R&B too wound up in their supposedly objective decision making

Street Corner Symphony was my favorite, but I'm sort of glad they placed second rather than third because I know they'll make it in the industry either way.
