  • I was on the Tucson from 2002-2005 And that was Capt. Pitts, who else watched this from the boat. (It's Martin by the way!)

  • @schmoel2 Nuke ET Lane here. I just watched this. Wait, which Martin?

  • The master chief works really hard! Greetings from Northern Illinois,Tucson! Is the band Supertramp? D.C.

  • Slimey79 is dead on, I was the duty driver that night and was told to go out and pick up the skipper and a few new friends for a quick tour. They were all good guys and seemed to really enjoy the tour.

  • This was - if I'm not mistaken - in Sasebo, Japan, around Independence Day, 2006. CDR Pitts (the CO at the time) invited a band onboard for a tour. This scene is in "El Charro Down Under" - the name of her galley & mess.

  • That looks like who I knew as Lt. Cdr Pitts the weps on the SSN-709..

  • It looks like a dependents day cruise. This is a day where they take crew family members out for a few hours ride.

  • No actually that the crew. Uniform and grooming standards are a joke on Tucson. :)
