This is really sad. I've seen over 70 concerts in that building. what a great time we had there. gone are the days of thousands of people hanging in the garage rockin out before the big show. Brings a tear to my eye.
So the "E" and some other letters of the sign flew right across the RT 34 connector?? Damn, that's a good little disctance. Just wanted to make sure I'm understanding this right... I didn't go that morning.
Man I wish I was there. Went to all of the concerts, hung out at the gas station with Billy Coppola, Jimmy Gorieb, Gordon Farrel and the rest of the Annex boys.

That 'O' should have been mine...well, actually, the 'E' should have been mine LOL! I was the one that asked the cop for the 'O' right before you ran to get it.
Yeah, only problem is that I didn't get the 'E' like I should have. I was still so freaking awestruck. The video doesn't do it justice. We were getting pelted w/stuff, and (no disrespect) it really looked like 9/11 for a few minutes. Too bad we all freaked a little and the recording left a lot to be desired when we ducked and covered LOL. I also cut a little out. It was really wild...truly a great and fitting final show.

This footage was shot on RT 34 looking Northward. The prevailing winds were from the Northwest. Hence the dust cloud.

Ummm...I know, I was there lol. But, believe me, we did not just get a dust cloud...we were pelted w/a lot of stuff. It all came flying right at us.
