geese mate for life and always come back to the breeding grounds so if there breeding there they will come back so the most effective way of harvest is to kill the geese rather then move them to a no location to later come back to risk more lifes. I am pro goose removel to many lives at risk on an air plane!!!!

@fontanaman13 I did think about it and i stand by it, as seen in the video there are alternative ways to move the birds rather than slaughter them, there are multiple options not just kill them and move on, sure it may be the simplest way to do things but is it the right thing, thats the question, and the answer is no its not the right thing to kill them off.

It's my understanding that the geese who were sucked into the plane engines were migratory geese, so the action of rounding up the geese and killing them was not only cruel but USELESS.

To four4vizslas: Humane and killing are a contradiction in terms. There is no humane way to slaughter animals. Also: You can feed many more people with vegetarian food than you can with animal flesh (and it's healthier).

100% true. USDA KNOWS there is MRSA in chicken, and pork meats which means you can get MRSA just touching it-they know, they cover it up. I have proof. There is also VRE in chicken meat. It's highly contagious and highly deadly.
