i think it will take a year or 2 but this tournment will be really big. MLS teams will do alot better once the schedule and salary cap is figured out. i think they should make the schedule march-mid june and then mid july-november.

Even though you have a point about the defence, I think the North American attacking football style has nothing to envy compared to better leagues. Teams always try to score goals and play flows a lot. Compared to some games we get here in England it's rare. However... yes I think the main flaw of MLS is the defence/goalkeepers. They often make silly mistakes and goalkeepers never seem to be able to make a save whilst not letting go of the ball.
I wish there was more U.S. media coverage of CONCACAF Champions League matches.
Even when an MLS or USL squad is involved, there's hardly any mention in the U.S. of CONCACAF Champions League games, on TV, on the radio, or in newspapers.

Que significa esto? Antes con la CCC, era otra cosa enfrentar un equipo Mexicano y saber que tiene una sola chance de ganar porque el encuentro es de ida y vuelta. Con estos grupos, no hay tanta presion en los rivales y creo que tarves se esta viendo el verdadero nivel de los Mexicanos en frente de los otros de CONCACAF.

i think it will take a year or 2 but this tournment will be really big. MLS teams will do alot better once the schedule and salary cap is figured out. i think they should make the schedule march-mid june and then mid july-november.

It's kind of ironic, I think most FMF teams would rather play in an higher competition like Copa Libertadores. But playing in CONCACAF CL has higher chance of winning... Unfortunately or not, the champions of FMF has to play in CONCACAF CL.

No offense, sorry if I did. But I never said they were the best in the world. However, speaking solely about teams participating CONCACAF CL, I have more respect for FMF teams. In terms of history, number of championship, fan support FMF are still superior than any other CONCACAF leagues. Sure, MLS is still developing and they have great potential. Even though you have a point about the defence, I think the North American attacking football style has nothing to envy compared to better leagues. Teams always try to score goals and play flows a lot. Compared to some games we get here in England it's rare. However... yes I think the main flaw of MLS is the defence/goalkeepers. They often make silly mistakes and goalkeepers never seem to be able to make a save whilst not letting go of the ball.

Even when an MLS or USL squad is involved, there's hardly any mention in the U.S. of CONCACAF Champions League games, on TV, on the radio, or in newspapers.
I'm sure there's lots of CONCACAF Champions League media coverage in Mexico.
