what can i say..great setup and ambient minimal tracks under UV rays hehe sounds like imagine =P just a question mate im supposed to be getting a Pioneer Setup DJM800, CDJ800 but after exploring the Xone 4D and knew it works very well with ableton and traktor pro as a controller im thinking about getting the Xone 4D only and play my samples with live or even traktor..so what do think , Xones4D or Full Pioneer Setup?! cheers :)

Both options you mention would do the trick fine, although I'd probably look at getting CDJ 1000s instead of 800s if you take the Pioneer route as they are significantly better and you could probably get a 2nd hand pair for about the same price as new CDJ 800s. The DJM-800 though is a cracking mixer, the effects on it are really good and it was the mixer I used to have before the 4D.

However with the 4D and Ableton combo you can add a whole new dimension to a DJ set because it allows you to introduce a live element that you can't do with the Pioneers alone to the same extent. However its always good to be able to use decks as some clubs prefer you to use their equipment and this makes playing sets out and about easier.
