  • so fluid.. Keep up the great work Justin!

  • really like this one!

  • Airbourne!!!

  • Always fun playin acdc, ive found that like a ton of there songs all have like the same chords for the main riff. C, G, A, D. ACDC is a good band i think to transcribe and just an amazing band.

  • always the best lessons

  • Thanks man....great lick....gonna practice right now.

  • Justin where do you find time to answer 44196157 people? :):)

  • Someone probably already mentioned this, but an interesting variation on this is to bend to the high E after the main bend, instead of using the high E string. It makes a veyr quick bend which is barely noticeable but kind of connects the two notes together. :)

  • On your website you have a Foo Fighters line in the subtitle.. How about some FOO lessons?

  • Justin isn't that lick he uses on "Baby Please Don't Go" ?

  • Justin, you slay me! Awesome lesson!

  • Thank you very much Justin. I moved this lick up to the 17th fret and then at the end I added a bend on the 17th fret of the high e string and then it became the first lick in the solo for Animal by Peal Jam! Super Cool Bro!

  • I love you man, man love is ok from time to time, and you have been close to Katie Melua, wow she is so lovely. your a lucky man and good on guitar a bit.

  • Yeah Angus FTW!!!!!!

  • great lick, I like Zakk Wylde's aggressive version

  • great tshirt. love the lick.

  • Dear Justin,

please cut the little piece of string that is dangling from your tuner...looks like its the G string but not sure. Anyway, its distracting. :P

  • Awesome, thanks!

  • \m/ keep rockin man

  • Wheres the mesa Justin???

  • @epiclife247 i have not played mesa for a couple of years!!

  • @JustinSandercoe Why'd you get rid of the Mesa?

  • @JustinSandercoe lol: I got one mainly because you used one :-D

Thanks for your time and lessons Justin (I really appreciate it)

  • @FlyingBadman mexican fenders. The body's are well constructed, and the only real issue with the mexis are the pickups. I changed mine out for the hot noiseless, and it sounds awesome. Any pickup upgrade would suffice to make the sound better. and btw There's no such thing as a japanese squire anymore. They're all made in Indonesia. The squires are made of poor cuts of wood, and just atrocious craftsmanship. Go with the mexis if you're getting a strat/tele. But try as many guitars as possible.

  • what's your amp by the way?

  • The high E string sounds a little sharp or am I wrong? (Not trying to be a teacher Im just wondering if I hear right or not)

  • Clapton played this lick for the duration of his time in Cream too.

  • Cool how you got out the SG for an Angus lick

  • Sandercoe.....you rock!!

  • Justin you think you could teach us Moneytalks by AC/DC? o.o

    P.S. You Rock =]

  • This is now my favorite. thank you.

  • Cool dude, great lesson, a monster tone and beautiful ideas. Regular stuff in justin's vids. Tnx man, the best.

  • which guitar is this ???????? Gibson lespaul ?

  • @AliArsalan89 It's a Gibson SG

  • @Ignore14 thank you Sir !!!

  • thin lizzy dancing in the moon light solo!

  • Just a simple question: Why don't you never use the 4th finger?

  • NOW THATS A GOOD LICK \M/

  • Justin, you are a grammar ninja. You are correct about the apostrophes. And you are entirely correct about the "Jesus's" being inelegant. Not only guitar lessons, now teaching English by request.

  • Nice! As always, thanks for sharing & Jam ON!

    -BB

  • who actually gives a fuck about the grammar, good lesson man as always!

  • I love how this SG sounds like a Violon at 2:18 with your Amp settings.

Great job as always, Thx Justin.

  • You've got a bunch of useful, good pieces I am able to incorporate into my own voice/style Justin. Thank you.

  • @Waltos Whats a violon??

  • This rocks!

  • the lick at 2.35 reminds me some licks of Brian May...don't u agree?

  • You are the best teacher for me.

  • Grammar lessons on awesome guitar teaching videos. And I thought I'd seen it all.

  • Excellent

  • I realize the discussion about the apostrophe should die, but I happen to think Justin got it right. Apostrophes are generally followed by an 's' for singular proper nouns, and not followed by an 's' for plural nouns.

For example, we have Angus's repeater, James's ball, et cetera.

By contrast, we have the boys' toys, the dogs' bones, and so on.

I have read as of late that to add the 's' is considered more proper, and I like it better. It's what we say when we speak, anyway.

  • i google U justin sandercoe n found you at the top of guitar warriors = D Keep it up !!!!

  • justin you are my god!!!scuse me for bad english....ciao from italy!!!

  • Thank you Justin! I like.

  • finally angus young gets some recognition

    nice man

  • Using the Csharp how does that change the pentatonic musically? ; What scale would it become?

  • @Nameless742 if you use the c# it would make it Dorian as your adding a major 6th. However, doing a half step bend from the c# to the d is still within E minor pent, but adds that momentary Dorian slur. Satch would think of it as Dorian and B B King would think of it as a pentatonic slur, modal or pentatonics both are cool. Try adding half step bends from notes outside the minor pentatonic scale to a normal pentatonic note and you'll find your solos become a lot more nuanced like the human voice

  • @ProGuitarTuition Thanks very much for the help :)

  • Seriously? Your going to correct Justins grammer??

  • Stop crying over the fucking apostrophe.

    Use the friggin lick instead.

  • Thanks Justin :) Your generosity is never ending..

  • The apostrophe is used to indicate possession with all nouns, both proper and common. The rules here are straightforward: add an apostrophe and an s. The ball belonging to Jack is Jack's Ball. The ball belonging to the man is the man's ball. The apostrophe comes between the word and the s. What could be easier?

Words ending with an s present a problem. There are two valid options in this case. It is either Jesus' teaching or Jesus's teaching. Elegance would seem to preclude the latter.

  • @JustinSandercoe lol I don't care about apostrophes'ss's' I jus like u teach geetar an I learn. simples's

  • @JustinSandercoe Yes, sir, after googling I found that it is actually as you say. Sorry for the confusion, but here in Portugal we've always been taught not to put the s after the apostrophe in these situations.

    Sorry again, ROCK ON!

  • @filipequintas you have just embarressed us portuguese, don't get us wrong were actually smart people and we usually dont go around correcting english native speaker on their english skills... Excellent lesson Justin!!!

  • @JustinSandercoe Quite helpful actually, thanks :)

  • @JustinSandercoe You PAWN Justin.. hahah... MORE POWER to you and your channel..

  • @JustinSandercoe Looks like the kiddies were getting bored and focused on your grammer instead of their fret hand. Hope they at least got the latter right...

  • @JustinSandercoe

you sir are THE grammar nazi.

  • @JustinSandercoe I don't understand how Jesus got involved in a discussion about apostrophe's.

  • @Abs9106 Because his name ends with 's'.

  • @Abs9106 seriously, you are retarded.

  • @Canonall CALM DOWN DEAR, ITS ONLY A COMMERCIAL

  • @JustinSandercoe Master of guitar, grammar and punctuation too! You're a real Renaissance man :-)

  • That lick was delicious nom nom lol great lesson justin keep em comin :)

  • Nice one Justin. Enjoyed this one. Can't wait to try it out.

  • Justin... YOU ROCK :-D Thanks for teaching this. Nice to see the lick of the week back again ;-)

  • I think it should be "Angus' Repeater".

    Cool lick ;)

  • @filipequintas It is?

  • @filipequintas I agree. If there is already an s at the end of the word, the apostrophe rule changes slightly. Of course grammar rules are never universal so you will always find people writing Angus's instead of Angus'...

  • @filipequintas You just got served. lol

  • Fuckin' AWESOME. I love AC/DC. Thanks for this :)

  • @JustinSandercoe umad?

  • I love that guitar!

  • At the intro I was like:

  • At first i was like sweet, then i was like holy sh.....amazing!

  • i haven't got a hope i can barely transition

  • sweet

  • This, is friggin awesome,

  • Awesome lessons as always!

  • love this lick, it gets VERY addictive to use and i now have to train myself NOT to use it!
