Plus, I loved that Tampa team in 2004, they truely deserved to go all the way that year, regardless of what some folks in Calgary believe.

That was a great spring for playoff hockey no matter who ya cheered for:-)

I cant beleive calgary was in double overtime in game 6 to win the cup at home and they didnt score. IN AN EXTRA 40 MINUTES then they ended up losing the cup. 1 goal away from the stanley cup, thats heartbreaking

I live in Calgary, even though ive been a penguins fan my whole life. The city was hockey crazy in those playoffs, game 6 in calgary, I was downtown, the game didnt even start yet, cars honking horns, people wearing red in the streets, amazing atmosphere

cause here in calgary we live for hockey, and the other big hockey cities trash talk us to no end but we stick together and support our boys in red. nothing was better than seeing the underdog canadian team become the first in the finals in 10 years. probably the most spirited playoffs in years. flames are gonna do it again this year, but this time it's for the prize.

Especially with Calgary, it was some of the worst hockey of that years playoff...I give the Flames credit for their run but I was rooting for Tampa in the Final.
