Oh.. and I forgot in my last post. The guide does do work in Africa and knew Flower, Zaphod, Shakespeare, and all the others. It was fun talking to someone who actually held Flower when she was only a few weeks old.

My granddaughter, grandson, wife, and I actually got to play, hold, and feed a couple meerkats on the 10th. THAT was fun. Got to spend a couple hours with just us, the meerkats, and one "guide". Look up Fellow Earthlings. Costs $100 and took two years to get the appointment but was well worth it. I got it for my Granddaughter's B.D.

@MarkotaSan The snake was only doing what was right to it, trying to find a meal and a home (Unfortantly that meal was the whiskers pups). It wasn't the snake's fault that it was hungry or that it happened to be a beloved rose that it happened to bite. So in a way, it wasn't the snakes fault.

I have hated snakes since flower died. I had trouble liking her when she was alive cause she hoged the spotlight from zaphod, mitch ect. And she died and meerkat manor failed, the producers are mad and worst of all it left zaphod in a depression. I wish she were still alive.

Zaphod is alive and well with the Aztecs. Zaphod was the bond for the whiskers. Flower and him together were one and the same. Formidable, fierce, caring and understanding. The Whiskers' prospered because of their leadership and control. After Flowers death, the Whiskers were no more. They became something else. RD tried and Zaphod helped. It wasn't the same. Zaphod & Flower have a unique bond that will one day begin again when they are together with their family. Happy and together

@Babyrose9090 I know the Whiskers, as a group, are still with the project. What I meant was that the "Whiskers" we all came to know, as the quintessential clan, is no longer existing. I know the name implies something, but it isn't the same anymore. No clan will ever be able to compare to our "Whiskers", not even the current Whiskers. I do, however, check in to see what is happenning to the clans. However, the passion is just not there anymore.

Yes that's right, Flower was bitten twice by a Cape Cobra whilst trying to protect her pups. Unfortunately the venom was just too strong and eventually the next day Flower succommed to the snake bite and passed away. But Flower is now in the afterlife where she is in no more pain and suffering, Zaphod will eventually be reunited in the afterlife with her. Thanks for the reply!!

I was able to watch her talk to him with a observant eye (if that makes any sense)...but when the end came, the singing, the memories...tears filled my eyes and a few came out. I miss and love her so much. And, not only does this fit her with Zaphod, it could also fit her saying farwell to her whole beloved family. It hurts. 5 stars, doggieyo :"(.
