As much as I like Rommel ill agree that he certianly wasen't the best in WW2, maybe not even the best for the Germans. Indeed he is overrated.

It is hard to find Turkish commanders from the Ottoman Empire since they are not of common knowledge. And on my lists I included people from different cultures. Scipio Africanus, for example.

Yes Douglas MacArthur is up there he was a great leader for us during ww2 and the Vietnam war. It was too bad though that he got removed from command for getting China involed in the vietnam war.

I have talked to several people about this and NON can recall anything mohammand did that was new and special on the field of battle. he just mass murder people, all them greats came up with something new to do and it is still practice today in war schools all over the world, but there is nothing known as a mohammod manuver or tactic anything, that wicapedi is writen by anyone and much is very wrong info there.
