2/23: Drowning in Books and Hunting for Moochka

That book that was falling apart...I have a strong feeling it is Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell. If it is, that is one copy of the first edition, which came out more than 70 years ago! That's probably why it's falling apart. If I'm wrong, then you should still find that book and read it. It's one of the greatest ever. I promise.

I just bought The Hunger Games (which I was really surprised to actually find in my bookstore), and I'll start reading it as soon as I'm done with the one I'm on now. I'll have read it by next Monday for sure!

Moochka is adorable. My cat likes doing that too; hiding and then jumping forward once you're out of sight. Gotta love them!

Moochka's so cute! Boy and I thought my to-read list was long enough. I know what you mean about old books falling apart. I love old books. I once bought a bunch of classics in oldie-worldie covers for 25p each at my library. I HATE it when children's classics are published as skinny, flimsy little paperbacks. They should be thick and hardback with illustrations. Hardback books are real books, and paperbacks too if they're thick and the page size isn't too small.

Wow you got a lot of books there. Book sales held by churches, libraries, schools and the like are great places to find cool stuff for really cheap. I also like going to used bookstores & checking out bargain book areas at big bookstores to find interesting stuff.

Uh, no, you didn't. You saw a 3-year-old, broken Panasonic that I plan on patching and selling and using to buy a real camera. And that's it. The camera I'm using is the movie function on an cheap panasonic stillcam, because it's only slightly better than my isight. The rest you imagined.
