*TIP*okay a bad dead ringer idea is to use it in small places, as a snipers i was chopping at a spy and he used the dead ringer and i did an extra chop and killed him while he was invisible

Using it in a small place might be bad, but only if the place is too small for you to get around the enemy and escape in the short time you have.

As for killing him with an extra chop, he had to have been really low in health, like less than 20HP. Otherwise on a full health DR spy, you'd have to hit him about 18-20 times with a kukri to kill him (65dmg for normal hit, DR reduces each hit to 6.5 damage, crits are 195 --> 19.5 dmg each hit for 6-7 hits if you crit every time...)
