Joji you have a way of putting things into words so that they make the most sense and really do touch people. The story is so sad and true and people really need to realise that it is wrong to hate people for what they are or how they were born. Thank you Joji you brought me to tears, keep being who you are.

People hate what they fear, and to get rid of that fear, that kill that which they hate even though what it is that they hate is just as human as they are. If it's different, it cannot belong. It doesn't deserve the life that it was given. People are... ignorant that way. Blind. But maybe someone- and that someone might be you- or someone else with similar problems. I hope the world with open their eyes soon...
People hate what they don't understand. People get angry at what they don't understand. I'm sure you know as well as I do from experience. I still don't know why that boy in your story deserved to die. And I'm sure 99.9% of us won't. And that's the way things are, I suppose.

Joji...you are absolutely incredible. That story...it was inspiring, and I'm being brought to tears. You're right. It shouldn't matter... and the world seems to fail to understand this. People are cruel, people are heartless, and I wonder why it has to be that way, sometimes. That boy was just a boy. That's it. Just a boy. No matter what his body might like. Thank you for trying to open up other's eyes, and saying what we can't.
Although we're all people, we all breath, sleep, eat, and live our lives. There are always going to be those people who feel that there is some social hierarchy in which people that are different than themselves (not necessarily a group) should be look down upon and outcast in order to make room for more "worthy" beings. If you deviate from this then you have become an abomination of a human by committing such an unforgivable crime. it's sad but that's how ignorant some people can be.

People fear what they don't understand, and different people express this fear in various ways. Some lash out, some get angry, some simply shake their heads in disapproval. People won't accept the differences in others because if everyone is indeed different, then they feel that it would be impossible to be unique; there would be nothing special about themselves. They believe It's a lot easier to make fun of someone for something different than to take the time and try to understand it. :(
