i was thinking maybe someone could help me out with a problem im having.

i keep trying to install the acceleration pack but it keeps saying fsx must be activated but when i started it up, it still said it must be activated. does anyone

know how to fix this problem?

@codboroks97 you can't run it on a pirated copy of FSX. Don't know if that's what you did, but from my experience, that sounds like that kind of problem. If not, re install FSX, then run the expansion setup

@youkluo Basically, you get three new aircrafts, F/A-18A Hornet, P-51D Mustang and the EH-101 helicopter. You can play in multiplayer mode, lots of new missions, DirectX 10 and well, its kinda fps friendly (Atleast more than normal FSX) and lots of fun :)

Nothing will happend with the FSX deluxe, FSX acceleration is just a add on. That means u only add on the airplanes and the missions, nothing else. =)

I have FSX deluxe and I really want to get the accelaration expansion pack. If I get it will I still be able to play the original FSX missions and use the my default and downloaded aircraft or will everything be reset by the acceleration pack?

all u have to have installed on ur comp is FSX (doesn't matter if it is deluxe or not). acceleration is an expansion pack that will give u 3 extra planes and missions. besides that nothing will happen

No. Acceleration is an add-on. Once you buy fsx then you have to buy acceleration. Acceleration is a different thing but will not work without fsx.

I heard FSX Acceleration doesn't include Service Pack 2 with DX10 support. They skipped it cause they couldn't make the deadline. SP2 is now scheduled for release at the end of the year. Can anybody confirm that?

It does include SP2 but SP2 will not be released on its own for a while yet. If you want DX10 support the only way is to get this pack until the SP2 comes out.

It does work on either version but be warned... once you install this, you will no longer see all the games listed in the free flight lobby, and also, you wont be able to play with people online unless they also have the expansion pack... for me right now, thats a huge pain cause I only see like 10 games in the ff lobby now where there used to be 100's. I hope they fix it
