I really enjoyed all of their performances on Jools Holland, I thought they were great. Perhaps she's not singing lower because she's an old woman, and not what she once was. You need alot of breath to do that, and she's 67?

She is very "churchy" sounding - I think she is more than capable of singing lower, so not too sure why she doesn't. Perhaps she thinks it's "gospel hour"? I love her all the same.
