@UltimateFighting666 If your referring to NHRA top fuel, they use V8's because of regulations and tradition. Just like Nascar's HAVE to use OHV V8's. It's the rules. It's not because V8 are far superior to other engine configurations.
I wish I could ask PAC Performance what their job is like and what they do everyday and how they do it. And for some work expirence in a PErformance shop, I've been at the panel beaters and my local mechanic.

@AaronRockerWTF Muchachos, no desperdicien tiempo discutiendo con estos tipos. Ademas, Pac lleva casi un a~o sin lograr su record otra vez. Las ultimas veces que corrio no lo pudo hacer, checkeen los videos de Pac del 2010-2011. Sporty, Carlos Racing, La Otra y otros siguen trabajando para mejorar el tiempo. Tanto los australianos como nosotros estamos en el tiempo de los ProStocks con peque~os rotores. Los q estan atras son los gringos. Ya nos tocara a nosotros. Cheers!

@AaronRockerWTF you dont get it do you supid, there are minimum weight restrictions in deferent classes to make it fair for everyone, it then comes down to real engineering to produce the most power from you engine and design a chassis that can deliver the power to the ground. its a lot more difficult to extract max power from an engine and chassis than it is to keep making cars lighter with fibreglass and aluminium.
