  • Thats good for a beginner, however i would say work on your elevation more than anything, especially in the sword. Its lacking it especially in the fast step. Well done though!

  • we are dancers and we thought it was GREAT so well down especially dancer 323!!!

    lynsey & laura x x x

  • hey, your fling wasn't bad for a beginner, maybe a little more elevation and in your cross-over step make sure you cross over. your swords was fairly good aswell, your highcutts need a bit of work, btu again for a beginner pretty good :) in your quick time, try and turn around more, to either face the corner or front. p.s i dont know if it was the vid but it was out of time heaps in some spots :S. madiee :X'

  • .. i hiland dance :)

  • good job. 5/5

  • well done!!she has a lovely arch espesially in the lilt and the 3rd was well deserved!!but i noticed that in all of the dances shown..there was no beautiful smile to match the lovely dancing..that was slightly dissapointing.and also,.im sure you know, that elevation is key to a good dance.i noticed espesially that in the fling and sword...well it was lacking...but keep up the amazing work and dont be afraid to take control of your dancing and be proud, not many people can do it you know ;)

  • I agree with you completely. I'm always saying to her smile... it's more pleasing to watch anyone do anything when it looks like they're having fun.

  • Im a premier dancer in england and the standards are okay for begginers ive een doing this dancing since i was 3 and im 13 now so its been a lot of pain to get to my standard!

  • I play the fling and the sword dance for highland dancers on my fiddle!!!! I love bagpipes as much as the next scotch lassie, but I'm a fiddle player. :)

  • My mom danced the Sword dance in front of the Queen!

  • as a young young child in australia i grew up to dance this with my sister it was big in my family in the 70s

  • thats not very good! lol

  • hey my dads going to albrta

  • k r u bret wessner????? from regina??? i know you!!

  • r u still in novice and if so next year will u be competing in saskatchewan competitions? o ya and how many stamps do u have?

  • The Lilt is the best! When i do the lilt i just get so carried away! i love the lilt

  • congrates. i think i was at this comp. i am goign to guess it was the alberta one. did you take the trophy? that was my last begginer comp.

  • yeah, i figured. bagpipes are hard to record well because they can take up so much "space" if you know what i mean, especially indoors

  • Is it just a weird tune, or did the dancers in the first filng all seem like they were a whole beat off-time?

  • I think that's more of a video issue then the dancers.

  • its realy weird music i hate it when the pipers play a version that u dont know and u dont know the tunne and u always screw up!!!!

  • I also do the Flora...and the sean t., but only flora in that comp. Father, post all of them.

  • God i just realized my timing was way off.

  • Hehehe, that's me!!

  • These are Novice dancers 11 and 12 years old.
