It might have something to do with the fact that 90% of all radio stations (and probably 100% of Clear channel) did not play Wierd Al at all.

And it's even more likely that no radio stations played this song at all on the radio for a few years prior to 9/11/2001.

before you use words like dumbass, do some reading. i served and was trained in nuclear warfare scenarios for infatry units. ground zero is the place where or directly under where a bomb, rocket or missile explodes. it describes the distance from the center of the explosion on a 2-dimensional plane, like a map. nowadays its pretty much is used exclusively to describe the point where a-bombs hit. so the usage of ground zero for 9/11 is really a missnomer. desasters... ground zero for a tzunimi?
