DL Men and Gays do NOT corner the market of HIV/AIDS infections.

WHY do people keep parading around on television like this dumb "show-horse" lady keeps doing.....and telling half truths?

HIV/AIDs is a horrific disease to deal with, and on top of the public shame that comes with the illness, the individuals have to be looked at as if they were all engaging in gay acts or dL acts or whateverwhich is just simply not true.

The real tragedy is not having a cure.

Are there any Hiv test that can find the actual virus. Because all the ones that i have seen and taken say it test for antibody. Even the Blood test. Also how accurate are they? because i have read in many places that the flu and other things can cause a positive reading.

This issue is in no way limited to black people. Men of all colours have lied to women about their sexuality for centuries- non black men simply don't talk about it as being on the DL- they use other words to describe their behaviour.

Smoothbrother69 - I agree that the media is sensationalizing this subject matter but I must also admit that this is very rampant! I have a gay brother and all he's ever attracted where men who had wives, girlfriends; they were thugs, Pastors and everything in between. I talked to some of his friends and ALL of them have had relations with DL men. I must also add that many DL men are men of other races; I just hate how the media tries to make this more of a "black thing".

1 in 10 is a really high number for a population. this is just the population that is openly gay if you double that which still seem a little high it is 1 out of 5. so of course u can find a lot of dl men out their as well as gay men. but the majority of men are straight.

Also, no one is saying that most men are DL or gay but we are saying that there are many of them; more than most would think. Clearly, you are an outsider to this and will be oblivious to how common it really is. it is not something that i do not see. i have heard stories of guys trying to hit on other guys. but this is the minority of men. most males are straight not bi. bi is something that is big amoung women. (who are mostly bi to some degree) but guys tend to be one or the other. clearly you must see that 4 out of 5 men u meet are straight.
