  • what a great voice and a very good brother who I had the pleasure to meet, He is missed on this earth, rest is peace my dear brother...

  • This group is not the original Temptations; however, Otis Williams, the founder, is in the group and is the only person authorized to call his group The Temptations. This lineup with Ali Ollie Woodson on lead was the most successful following David Ruffin and Eddie Kendricks. Many lead changes throughout the years but high quality maintained except for the current lineup with the fat guy on lead. With him they suck bigtime.

  • THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I LISTEN THIS SONG,,,,,WERRY NICE..LOVELY SONG

  • TREAT HER LIKE A PUTA!

  • iLove Dis SoNg..iF Dis iS How You Treat Your Lady.Propz To You Cuz Dats How iTs Suppose To Be(:

  • I miss Woodson may he RIP ppl need to stop fakin on him if he was around there is a good chance he would have been a part of the orginial five temps

  • Some ppl don't know what this song really means and probably never will...To all the men out there who are doing exactly what this song says!!! Real Men "Treat Her Like Lady!" They don't make music like this anymore it sickens me the music today has no originality and it all sounds the same...So Sad! Thanks for posting azndude1701;>

  • Good record, good group, but they're not the Temptations.

If Paul and Ringo hired a couple of musicians the resulting four-man group wouldn't be the Beatles, even if that were what they called it.

  • @keithsmd How could you say that about these legendary men?Ollie Woodson's a God!!! No disrespect, though.

  • I thought that I was the only one that saw that, Excellent observation !!!

  • LOVE THIS SONG LIKE CRazy

  • real soul thanx !

  • I'm only13.

I wish I knew what it was like to have real music like instead of the....'role models' I have now that are trying to upgrade sex instead of our self- confidence.

  • @Anjelgurl828 Yeah girl, those were the days. I actually feel sorry for your generation because as you point out, the role models of today just aren't there. To me, the best music has already been made........in the 50's, 60's and 70's, with some exceptions to the rule like this one in the early 1980's.

  • @hossridr

I just never listen to rap anymore. So degrading, so discouraging, so...filthy. Then they'll go out and say, "Oh..ya'll need to stay in skool". Its all sex, drugs, money, and women. Geez, they need to think of something better. Rap isn't even talent.

  • @Anjelgurl828

I'm glad you see rap for what it really is. Nothing more then a bunch of gangsters making money off of young folks. Glorifying the degradation of women, killing of cops and other antisocial perversity. Its sick.

  • @hossridr

Thank you! At least you actually appreciate me for that. Its kinda hard to get people my age to start seeing things for the way they are. I go to church a LOT. That's probably why.

  • @hossridr You can blame these record companies as well. But check out Lupe Fiasco's "Dumb It Down" one of the very few rappers that has something positive to say to the young black ppl.

  • @dal4018

Well of course I blame record companies as well. I took my daughter to an MC Hammer concert back in the early to middle 1990's. I understand that Hammer was a pretty decent guy, made sure his tours were clean and that all performers met a curfew. But he is an "old school rapper" and a lot tamer then the ones that are popular nowadays. I'm sure that there are exceptions to the rule, as you point out, just like there is to anything.

  • @hossridr You got your daughter on the right track the old school that is where it started.

  • @dal4018

Well I got her on the "right track" I guess, but it wasn't necessarily the "track" I wanted her on. As it turned out, however, it wasn't a bad "track" to be on. Unfortunately the "train' got derailed and was put on a "new track". That's when the "train" went downhill from there.

  • @hossridr You can only do the best that you can the rest is up to her and you must trust her judgement.

  • @dal4018

Well, I didn't wan to give u the impression that she didn't do well. She did and is now an RN, but what I was referring to is the music itself, when I was talking about the " train track". I'm talking about what cRap (Rap) music morphed into..

  • @hossridr Well congrats to her for being a livesaver

  • @hossridr Again your right rap music has morphed into crap

  • @Anjelgurl828 Me Gurl I like the old school they had something positive to say.

  • @dal4018

Yawp! I wasn't alive during this time, but at least I don't follow the crowd by listening to rap and cussin' loud and going out with EVERYONE like kids my age do trying to be adults. Shameful. I have my own mind and know what real music is.

  • @Anjelgurl828 Yes Gurl you follow these legends they came before these so-called rappers. You want to listen to rap with a real message check out THE LAST POETS THEY WERE THE FORUNNERS TO PUBLIC ENEMY.ALSO CHECK OUT A BLACK MAN NAMED GIL SCOT HERON HE DID A SONG CALLED "THE REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE TELEVISED"

  • @Anjelgurl828 Hey Gurl check out a young brother named Lupe Fiasco he did a song called "Dumb It Down" it has a positive message for young black girls like you

  • i love videos like this. simple choreography, nice vocals, simple song, simple outfit. this... is... music.

  • Chivalry is not dead!!!

  • RIP ALI-OLI WOODSON. YOU WILL BE MISSED.

  • ALi-Ollie Woodson died today. May he Rest In Peace.

  • This is my song for the day, MOTHER'S DAY IS FAST APPROACHING. -- Don't settle, the Temptations raised right and they knew how to "Treat her like a lady"

  • great song msis the 80s and 90s soul rand b

  • So much has changed over the years.

Some for the better, some for the worse. I mean that in the full spectrum of things. But no matter what, at only 41 years of age, I'll always have an extra special place in my heart for the old days. (especially the 70's)

  • I will never forget seeing them perform this live at the Fox Theater in Detroit when I was 8... The most memorable performance, I was on the edge of my seat in awe. Just amaze to see this group live. Though it was the originals but it was still the Temptations! I love this group always and forever!

  • That man sho can sang!

  • I love this song, sounds amazing through my Focusrite soundcard.

  • A pinch of Ruffin and a Splash of Edwards and what do you get - Woodson

  • que swing incrível... único... imortal!!!

  • I think Mr. Woodson has the vocals to beat David Ruffin, he proves it on this song. But in the swagga dept, David all the way.

  • This song right her use to make me just lose it.I had to dance when I heard it, I had to do something. I am a singer and you know I sung this song so much. And this is one of my favorite songs in the world. Thank You guys for the great memories.( Middleagediva)

  • I was born after that year it came out

  • this is a real love song.

  • while the temptations always were great the original five were the best and no matter who come later they will never be able to top the orinals

  • nah david,blue,dennis,eddie,street

    now dats a supa group

  • i like woodson better then street i no my group would sound wierd with out a barritone

  • The Temptations is still the legendary group that remains great despite the ups and downs and the passing of members Paul Williams, David Ruffin , Eddie Kendricks and Melvin Franklin. They will always be remembered. The Temptations rule.

  • what will happen to the Temptations when Otis Williams Retire?

  • absolutely timeless to my soul! This was another jam that was played at family gatherings lol.

  • I luv this song...omg i have this song on my ipod...!!!

  • ABSOLUTAMENTE INESQUECÍVEL!!!

  • Whoo this is on the ipod rotation!!! love it!

  • Break em off Ollie....this is the good stuff...theres no music like this today

  • Yessssssssss!!!! This is STILL my song!!! I was about 14 when it first hit the airwaves and all these years later I'm still NUTS for it!!! Temptations Forever!!!

  • Me too. I didn't know it was the Tempts at that time, but when I got into Motown 3 years later, I was shcoked it was them who did this joint, and this was the first single I ever broguht from this group. I also saw them perform this live in 1988 and had a blast . People told me they used to perform this song in high school talent shows and they would always come in 1st or second place.

  • this joint is beast

  • no direspect but i love the original temps they are my life, otis williams, eddie kendricks, paul williams, david ruffin, and melvin franklin

  • yea me too, but i still cant help but love this song. XP

  • what you thank i don't i have this on my limewire and my mp3 player so don't think i don't love this song lol

  • Of course we all love the original Temps. Hell I'm 21 and I love David and Eddie but nothing ever lasts forever and life goes on. It's the fact that they aren't around anymore that makes us appreciate them today.

  • Every time I get mad at my woman, I go into my office close the door and blast this song. This is my therapy, a simple inexpensive and successful way of dealing with a relationship that has lasted over thirty-five years, more than not its on after this. Much LOVE and PEACE to anyone having trouble with their relationships.

  • dats the best eva

  • Dis it what I love...this music , that era of when music was good and not like the shit of today. Long LIVE The TEMPS!

  • imagin him and david ruffin put together

  • it would kinda wierd but id like seing

    David,Dennis,Eddie,Woodson,Blue

    Thats a super group

  • treat her like a lady,a monster hit, and I here this song every week,#2 on the us r&b, and #48 on pop chart, and #12 onthe uk pop.and lady soul was #4 on r&b chart, you can!t mention david and dennis without ollie woodson, they are outstanding, whichever one you like, personally I like all three, next I like the great paul and eddie, richard, Melvin and all the tenors, theo, g.c. cameron bo henderson and louis price and otis for keeping the tempts togather for 50 yrs.

  • It was and during the time that New Wave and Rap was starting to become popular, The Tempts showed the industry that can still cook up good tunes and this was a hot tune written by Otis and Ali-Ollie. Alot of people felt that it should have been a bigger Pop hit.

  • Sweet as!

  • this is my song but this video is hilarious. look at the hairstyles and the dance moves. music has channged and has come a long way

  • I'll take the hair and dancing WITH the music substance and performance compared to almost anything out today!
