MJM - more gain - less clarity and lots of low end

NKT - less gain, more clarity and not as much bottom end

But - they are both great Fuzz Face "clone's"....

Sounds great.If you send it to Mike have him put transistor sockets in it.That way you can always go back to the original transistors w/o having to solder.Just re bias and you're in business.If it were me I would leave it be.That motha sounds grrrrrrrrrreat!

Question: When you kick in the Chicago Iron Octavian it sounds amazing but I noticed that you didn't have to turn down you tone knob to achieve that superb Octavian tone...how did you do that?

you can buy them direct from analogman. just do a qucik google search on it. and i was wondering what the difference was between the normal nkt 275 and the high gain ones?
