Now this is a militia who cares about their country. Now of course there are militias out there who are radical and see that larger guns and unwillful sparadic gunfire is the key role to success. @1gamoguy almost you got it a little switched up. open carry is illegal in CA. but you can conceal carry as long as you apply for a permit which goes in the file of whatever police chief or sherrif in your area. Or if you have a dangerous job like my friend whos a trucker you can apply for one and get it lickity split. as for the ammo your only allowed to use lead free ammo for hunting. But for target practice and defense your allowed to purchase calibers

Take for example where I live out here in Alaska. We had a militia out, I believe in Fairbanks, that was absolutley radical and actually caused quite an uproar from the people.
