  • is this war cop training ground??

  • I'm in the process of joining the Royal Navy at in my medical stage :)

  • Pretty babyish

  • @catscanflyhigh ? what? excuse me babyish wtf are you talking about? ok if you think that is ''babyish'' then you can go fuck yourself with a machete a and try last as much as you can through the 32 weeks training, you wont make it with a shitty attitude like that.

  • @myhickle1 How's kindergarten treating ya?

  • @catscanflyhigh your cool....

  • @myhickle1 Sarcasm isn't funny

  • @catscanflyhigh ya i knows

  • @catscanflyhigh Let's see you be a Royal marine then go on... I DARE you...

  • Nice Video, Keep up the good work & be sure to check out our videos..GPUK

  • in soviet Russia grenades train you

  • you have 2 pass selection from the royal navy 2 get into the RMC

  • @bandaspoofs5 No you dont you have to pass the Royal Marines unique training and selection to get in and it is the longest and hardest training and selection in the world.

  • i wonder

    if im not british

    can i join rmc?

  • @sealkissfromarose If your part of commonwealth or been a UK citizen for 3 years i think you can but i would check up by visiting the website

    Good luck

  • @owlscraig oh good lord :(

  • @owlscraig

-well, officially, you need a stamp from the British consulate to try for the RMC if you are commonwealth, it's a technicality but they really just rubber stamp them in Canada.

  • erm.. im not sure.. im not british but im maltese.. and im part of the common wealth so i can.. and i am... why dont u send an email to the support line on the RMC's website and check?.. i have a feeling u can join anyway.. but like me u cant b an officer till after 5 years in service.. I.E till we get british identity

  • @Giallo007 i would be hard not having a rank in 5 years

  • u can go up ranks.. but just not be an officer

  • no mate..

  • yeah and they are loud as fuck

  • Are these practise grenades? They don't seem all that powerful. I'm assuming they arn't.

  • what are those little chambres where those marines are sitting in either side of the grenade throwing part?

  • There not marines, thats on sennelager training area and marines dont go there

  • its woodbury common

  • L109A1 frag grenade i think, it's used to stun and disorientate the enemy but also has a HE material inside and a 20m (roughly) blast radius. Note I THINK, so don't bite my head off if I'm wrong.

  • If I remember correctly, it is designed to be lethal at 5m for targets wearing armour, and dangerous up to 15m for unarmoured targets, though shrapnel can travel further.

Grenades don't kill from the blast itself, although obviously it will ruin your day if it goes off under your feet. The danger comes mostly from the shrapnel which is engineered to radiate out in a tight, uniform pattern to maximise the chances of hitting someone or something. That's why the explosions don't look impressive.

  • Yeah, and hence the term 'frag' - Fragmentation.

  • throwing grenades on call of duty dont count, im a Royal Marine and have done this and im telling you these are real grenades, why do you think the walls are zig zagged? to dive behind if you did drop one, and the corporal is there to throw you into cover also!

  • this is a grenade throwing range u goon, they are real and not training grenades

  • theyre training grenades.

  • @BritACF why do they hide behind a wall if they are training granades?

  • @thetoplap because that is what you would do if you were throwing a live grenade.

  • @thetoplap this is the grenade range on woodbury common where you throw the live HE grenades. Training grenades, or drill grenades as they are known have no charge in them and the practice grenades you use on exercise have a fuse to simulate the bang. to answer your question, you cant see it in the video but all over the huts and wall are fragmentation holes. the troop sgt who shouts change etc has to duck aswel and hes on a tower where the camera is.

  • There training grenades, they don't use live grenades for multiple reasons, incase a marine dropped one, the blast and the shrapnel created by it, those pebbles would be blown all around as well as back at the marines, iv'e thrown grenades before and these are training ones.

  • these are real grenades not training ones, they dont look impressive because most people are used to seeing grenades in games or films creating huge fireballs, but trust me, you dont want one of these going off near you

  • True that, but what you don't see in the vid is the miniscule pieces of shrapnel which would seriously do you over.

  • Theyre not real you tosser!

  • yes it is u twat...this was put on by the marines u complete nob head

  • Training grenades

  • @commandoRM these arnt real i just whent to the gr on Saturday and used real one they shake the ground and everything around them

  • @thisishiphop101 You dont know shit, ive thrown grenades and these are real. Training grenades make a pop sound, these explode.

  • the grenades look weak but i wouldn't chance sitting on one ;P

  • i think its because they are training grenades

  • oh ok makes sence

  • why does the sound cut out at 1:13 ?

  • Haha, guy at the end took him out!

  • LOL. :D

  • i cant throw for shit ='[

  • bring a base ball bat or golf club :D
