how much degrees was her scoliosis?

i have a 28' curve to the right and looks like i might have another at the top of my back :/

i have to get this surgery june 24th, you get a bit skinnier afterwards dont you? also my curve is an S shape around 60 on top and 57 on bottom! good luck to everyone getting this surgery, so nervous myself! ty!

i have had5back operations to correct my scoliosos. they keep puting rods in but they keep breaking i am in a wheel chair cuz i broke my neck on a trampoline when i was12im32now&am so tired of having back operations every4-5 years my last1was just 8 months ago and they attached a crank from my back to my knee while i was in surgery crancked my back and othter broken rods. they cant take the broken 1's out cuz to many tendons blood vesels and nervs have grown around them.ty4 sharing good luck

Thanks for posting this video. i am contemplating scoliosis surgery myself. I'm to the point now that i know it has to be done. I was just wondering how long did it take to heal up? Did she grow taller once the curve was fixed? Thanks.

My grandson has 111% curvature and is scheduled for the Harrington Rod surgery in two weeks. he's only 9 years old. We have tried the rods that get extended every 6 months, but infections got the best of him and the rods and screws came apart. Tell me this is the best thing since sliced bread! At least think and pray for him

I had a surgery 6 months ago, and it still fells weird.Did you wear a brace?

I had 4 Spine Surgeries from Jan. 08 to June of 09. My Doc.(1st 3 where with a different Doctor who I will not see again) fused 50% of my spine together. he put in 24 Screws, 2 rods(about 18 inches each) and some implants. It's been almost 7 months and I am doing excellent. Just know that there are other people out there that have had to deal with the same things as you. I hope the best for you and your recovery. Ironically enough, I know work for a Creative Spine Tech. Company.

wow her back was something like mine except i had a 57 degree curve in th top when i had surgery her xrays look just like mine after surgery

You must have had some awful problems with discs slipping, and nerves causing muscular spasms that must have been horrific, good luck with the future..

my friend eloise has to have this done and shes only 13 "/ and i feel really sorry for her, and atm she is scared having the opperation because it has put her off when she looks at the pictures on the internet, and she has to have the opperation sometime in december this year "/ x
