Guy Lombardo reflects what Canadians and Americans should be. Best friends in an uncertain world. Think about that the next time you sing Auld Lang Syne on either side of the 49th parallel and Happy New Year! (Especially Seattle.)
Perfect and glad I found this! for bringing in this brand new year 2012 for this proud (Alberta) Canadian!
Lombardo's Auld Lang Syne was/is the 'hallmark' and most well known version of this must play at midnite song this New Years Eve and every year! Thanks for good memories from childhood and on Sir Guy! and the ROYAL CANADIANS! -pmc
Thank you for putting this up :) It was driving me crazy because I was looking for the instrumental version of this song and a lot of versions on Youtube are singing. I remember this from my childhood
New Years Eve would not be the same without playing this song when the clock strikes 12. In my younger days when the family was together for New Years Eve, this is how we started the new year. I will always think of my Parents, Grandparents, Uncles & Aunts that have past on, when I here this tune.

Without Guy doing Auld Lang Syne it ain't New Year's Eve.
Didn't he used to have a tenor who sang a lot of stuff, was kind of a highlighter?

@sprucetree49 I think that was Kenny Gardner. His brother Carman Lombardo also did solos as in "Boo Hoo"
