i would say Broly was of SSJ3 power MAYBE!!!!! but he was definitely stronger than a ssj2...i think he was of comparable strength to majin buu, just not as intelligent

I loved this movie until the end, I was expecting an equal match between goku and broly at the end...but then....broly died in one punch. WTF. How do you go from woo pin 3 super saiyans asses at the same time, to dying from one fucking punch? its bullshit.
Sometimes I think that Broly should have been DBZ final enemy... I mean, that would have explained the Legendary super sayan stuff and it would have been more connected to the story arc... Buu kinda came out of nowhere, I've always though his saga was the 'weakest' of DBZ.

Goku and Vegeta agreed that Dabura is around the same power as Cell and they both felt Super Perfect Cells maximum power. Broly is the strongest villain in the series. Eat your words fool.

@mtruthm The Lssj form may be alittle over ssj2 in strength but in power and speed it is not equal. The Lssj form is like a mastered version of the USSJ form trunks used against cell, trunks was alittle over a super saiyan's level but was not near a ssj2 in speed.

Goku at this time was the most powerful among the Z fighters, Vegeta being second and gohan and trunks fighting for third. it also has to do with training, Vegeta and Goku are going to have bigger energy reserves than the others because they had been training at it longer, not to mention they were the first to absolutely master SS1.

But they went in a second time, Vegeta mastered his Super saiyan form, so yes Gohan mastered his SS form before vegeta and trunks. But vegeta is stronger than trunks, but not by much, their very close in power.

Um, I like how Goku never actually killed Broly lol. He still lives and ends up on earth. Then Goten and Gohan kill him (with Goku's help as spirit) and then they bring Broly back to life and Goten and Trunks kill him again. The only reason they killed Broly in the 2nd movie of him is because I think he was still wounded very bad from that fight with Goku.

Goku had to cheat and use the entire omniverses power to hurt Broly. But it didnt even hurt Broly it just knocked him into another omniverse temporarily then Goku flew back to Earth and died (which means Broly wins)

if im not mistaken, broly has a ki rating of 1,400,000,000 and that ki doubles when he achieves the super saiyan 3 (a super saiyan form pretty much the same with ssj 3 son goku)
this means that he is much like the ssj 4 son goku, only slower..

@GeorgeMonet broly in that form with no pupils and greenish hair is not ssj. Its lssj. Its where ll of his stat improve. So if this were math.... here is an example broly: strength=10 stamina=15 speed:10 body mass=10 stat increase=NaN lssj broly: bodymass:15 strength=15 stamina=20 speed=15 stat increase=5 the formula is body mass=strength, speed - added on strength due to lssj + stat increas.
@nhafner He didn't die, but he was very badly injured. Right before the planet they were fighting on exploded, Broly escaped with a space pod and landed on Earth. Watch Broly's Second Coming if you want more info.
To clear things up for people that didn't get why goku was able to win...it wasn't actually because he got help from all his friends, but because he got broly in his only vulerable spot, the spot he got stabbed at when he was a baby which is also where he power (aside from his generic insanity) comes from. Damage a power source, lose power, win.
As a side note, I am a diehard Vegeta fan, and I was so displeased with his performance in this movie, but this also shows another deep side of him...
@Zanaso12 wrong. broly has no vulnerable spots. theres absolutely no proof he was punched where he was stabbed since no one is even sure of where he was stabbed. but in the shadow, it looked like his chest. he was punched in the stomach.
We all know the creators shot themselves in the foot when they made Brolly the Strongest db character of them all and had to make a badly written plot to kill him off.

Um, I like how Goku never actually killed Broly lol. He still lives and ends up on earth. Then Goten and Gohan kill him (with Goku's help as spirit) and then they bring Broly back to life and Goten and Trunks kill him again. The only reason they killed Broly in the 2nd movie of him is because I think he was still wounded very bad from that fight with Goku.

Goku had to cheat and use the entire omniverses power to hurt Broly. But it didnt even hurt Broly it just knocked him into another omniverse temporarily then Goku flew back to Earth and died (which means Broly wins)

@kutlessrocker23 its the color of broly's "ki".. that only means he has so much "ki" in him, that it even affected the color of his blood..
if im not mistaken, broly has a ki rating of 1,400,000,000 and that ki doubles when he achieves the super saiyan 3 (a super saiyan form pretty much the same with ssj 3 son goku)
this means that he is much like the ssj 4 son goku, only slower..

To clear things up for people that didn't get why goku was able to win...it wasn't actually because he got help from all his friends, but because he got broly in his only vulerable spot, the spot he got stabbed at when he was a baby which is also where he power (aside from his generic insanity) comes from. Damage a power source, lose power, win.
As a side note, I am a diehard Vegeta fan, and I was so displeased with his performance in this movie, but this also shows another deep side of him...
