To page on a Nortel/Meridian phone, press feature 60 and then press one of these selections: 1= Phone speakers 2= Overhead speakers or 3=Both 1+2. Press your selcton and listen for the tone and then speak. When you're finished, pres Rls.
u gotta press feature then punch in 630 wait for tone then talk, and if there is another tone after the first, then to get that to you work for gotta press *11 after that.
@CJS7070 woah, i just tried that for myself and when i tried it on a nortel phone, in a empty classroom, it says "PAGING ALL SPKR" but does that create a annoucement on the pa speakers (i didnt hear a announcement beep), or does that make all of the classroom phones (all of them have nortel) ring, or none of those?
@raymond9987654321 actually, i mean it said "PAGING ALL-SPKR" when i did the FEATURE + 6 3, then 0 thing (what CJS7070 said), so after i typed in feature, then 63, it says "ZONE: ", then after pressing 0, it says "PAGING ALL-SPKR", can someone tell me if that actually creates an announcment for the entire schoo, or not? (or if it makes all of the nortel phones in the school ring, or nothing)

@ICCE300BusEnthsiast Oh actually I figured out that the feature 6 3 0 thing DID create an announcement to all of the school nortel PHONES (my school has them in all in-building classrooms and offices), but not the school's actual speaker intercom. In response to your comment, actually 6 3 0 does BOTH phone speakers and overhead out of what I've heard.
@ICCE300BusEnthsiast But I did overhear the people in the attendance office saying that the intercom code is PAGE and #00, but I tried that another day (just wondering if it worked) and I tried FEATURE + 60 (as that is the smaller-phone alternative to the page button in general I'm pretty sure) and pressed #, but then I got "Invalid number" (before I got to trying to type in "00", and the same thing if I tried # without pressing FEATURE.
Try ex: 1000, or 2000. Schools do a bad job a security codes. They most likely have it set to the defeat ex. Or you may not be able to page from the classrooms do to restrictions in the phone system.
school phones are networked if you notice the room phone numbers are called extensions and you should have a number to dial out in this case its called a PA public announcement the button is called page or intercom but net phone have a number after our school is page 01

It did not work because you are NOT supposed to press #. You are to press 1 for paging on phone speakers, 2 for overhead speakers, and 3 for both 1&2

That's a Nortel phone... Intercom means something different for that phone system. What you want to do is press FEATURE + 6 3 0
