You know what I just realized. When she sends Moses into the river, asks it to deliver him to a better place, I think she believed that he would drown and be delivered to heaven.She had no way to know/reason to believe he would go ashore with caring people. She wanted him not killed by vicious people, she begged the river to save him, but I'm pretty sure what is implied is that she thought he would die. Se said a chance that he could live, but maybe only in the sense that he wouldn't get knifed.

i don't know... i think drowning is worse then being knifed lol. imagine your lungs suffocating and being crushed and practically imploding under the weight of water while you are choking. Now imagine getting knifed. over in a few seconds.

But not quite. The 'Star Wars' movies were meant to be a fun science-fiction adventure for all ages. This movie is based on a story very much believed to be true, a movie whose main objective is to depict the power of God and how He, through Moses, freed the Hebrews from slavery, also (and this is why I freakin' love DreamWorks) beautifully and subtly symbolizing how Christ freed us from a different kind of slavery.
