Wow, that's pretty damn sad actually. Sega was a huge part of my childhood. The same fate followed the ones here in the UK, we had about 4 I think, I visited all of them as a kid, now they have all gone. Golden age of Sega is over. And these buildings marked the end.

I Miss this place!

I remember going there in 1997 when i was four with my Aunt's friend's daughter who was twelve and we saw Sonic Live In Sydney. I loved most of this including the cheesy voice acting (Way before Roger Craig, Jason Griffith and Ryan Drummond) and music (My favourite was Thank you for being you).

After the show we got our photo taken with Sonic and Sally(Better than Amy Rose)

i went to this place acouple of times, it was awsome, really good for sega fans, but it was SOO expensive, to buy a day pass for like 4 people was like 80-90 bucks. the games were good, just full of asian kids who money.

If I ever get my hands on the people who gave the go-ahead to demolish this wonderous building and replace it with a Commonwealth Bank office, I'll throttle them.

SEGA World was a part of my teenhood. My only regret is that I didn't go down and take pics of it earler. SWS, you entertained many Aussies, but it wasn't enough. This'll hopefully spur a "Sonic Live In Sydney" concert upload.
