I loved this show - didn't care for the movie much, which crushed me because I was so pumped when I about it. Not going to lie though, I hated the new Daisy. Her "take" on Daisy made her character completely unlikeable and dramatically different... I would love to see the show brought back to life - but only if they bring back all the original cast, with some better closure on Rube, at least the wrap up of his character's original demise. All in all I wish I hadn't seen the wrap up film.

Callum Blue has an epic voice! Lol it was great seeing all of the Dead Like Me cast come together again to make a movie. I loved the TV series, and I was disappointed when it was cancelled. I should watch the movie sometime soon. XD

100% agree. His completely impenetrable character gave them all something to bounce off of...and don't forget...find another restaurant with a twist...the place was "home base" for them. They seemed so relieved every time they slid into a booth!! But Daisy was miraculous as a 30's 40's actress. I'm pretty sure I heard her voice in a commercial the other day...quirky and sultry both. Ellen Muth is a fabulous character actress.Talk to Paul Gross in Canada! Slings&Arrows TV....

well they were getting old. sure i was pissed too, cuz its like awsome. but im sure u agree after the seasons untimely demise (cough cough no pun intended) to the movie (which was awsome) ellen muth seriously change and the whole fact that the actress that played in for daisy adare totally ruined the character for me. but what i want to happen is like u know csi....a different group of reapers and their tribulations...

I'm with you too. Very very clever....but what happened to Rube? I missed him in the movie. The movie was very much a let-down I think. It went for quick 'bad' slapstick jokes, little story, no complexity and no development. I want a third year!!!!

@katerinakrockett I got the same feeling about the interviewer. He started the interview with "what made you want to come back and do this 'little' movie?"It came across to me as belittling the show and made it sound like not many people liked it from his point of view. Even though I didn't care for the new Daisy I thought it was rather rude of him to bypass her and point out that he was doing so because she was a replacement to the role. I hope this isn't what he wants to do for a living.

@RapturePress It's called a wind screen and a better mic. Get that block off there. Know you are trying to brand it, but it will screw with the sound, and it makes it harder for people to hold. spend some money on a decent mic from shure. Will help with the noise handling issues.

Also Prep for an interview. Should know how long dead like me was off the air if you are interviewing them on the follow up to the show.

I'm sorry but the movie was not good. I will caveat that by saying that the show was one of my favorites of all time, but the movie was really bad. You can't drop two great actors like Mandy and Laura and expect the chemistry to be there instantly. I would love for the show to come back, but at this point the characters have aged too much and Bryan is onto much bigger shows. Oh well!

I'm a huge fan of "Dead Like Me" and I want more seasons. Bryan Fuller created one of the best series ever and the writers, the technicians and specially the cast did the rest. I want to see more scenes between Joy and Reggie, how Roxy threatens Mason with her gun, and how George still living after her death. We need more "Dead Like Me".

I think the movie is fine, there might be some quarks to work out. Let's be honest as long as MGM keeps dragging their feet we will never see a 3rd season... SALE the rights to DLM and let some other studio make a the series. WE ALL WANT TO SEE MORE EPISODES. MGM quit jerking the actors and the fans around, just let someone else make the 3rd series. Saw the movie, and it was pretty cool. The characters were lighter as per how they were near the end of the second season, and there was a better sense of hope for the return of at least another movie. I kept hoping Rube was coming back, but maybe they can get Mandy to reprise the role in another movie or another season. Time to start collecting DVD's . . . that's the surest way to get more episodes made.

I'm totally with you on that. They totally raped the series with this film. Daisy wasn't even vaguely similar to Daisy, and all of the quirky goodness got seriously jacked up.
