  • SUB MY CHANNEL!!! ITS A MARINE VLOG!!

  • We would be screwed if You guys weren't on the USA side!

  • Kill

  • Congrats on the medals.

  • I shoot in between my heart beats, I feel my beat fom off of the surfface i'm on.

  • @0Beautifulbrutality0 did u get dat from fight science

  • @JaradMoney No.

  • My father always said "A great shooter doesn't close an eye." Before you get all pissed at me. He was an expert marksman and won many compatitions in the world.

  • Jimmy I remember you from way back on the Common Misconceptions... I even added you on Myspace lol. You should get a facebook man

  • at my range we shoot 200 yds its not really that hard

  • So true what he says at 1:32. Damn, so true.

  • that balaclava looks badass with the MARPAT hat x3

  • did u ever win any u.s.m.c shooting competition

  • 500 yards iron sight? wtf I don't even understand.

  • do officers get to do this in there spare time? because if they dont i am going to hate just pushing papers as an officer.

  • Marines are motivated they love what they do, not many young people are as focused and as proud of thiere individual acomplishment's as young Marines, it's good that we have squared away young people who arent spray painting graffiti or selling drug's or commiting crimes, like these young men, these men have honour and integrity and they are good human beings.

  • how would you limit your pluse in TX in late June into July? Would you wear layers and drink a lot of water or what? I have a national comp down there for 4-H shooting sports and I shoot a .22 rifle. Wwe shot 3 events cmp, 3p, and silhouettes. Thanks for the help.

  • Congrats on both the Silver and Bronze medals. Not an easy task. Semper Fi,

  • hey that's coincidence, you're in Oki? You know LCPL Mike Simons? Good old friend of mine.

  • cool

  • why do you rap the sling around your arm????

  • Hi! I have a question.

Well I'm enlisting into the marine corps. I go shooting all the timeeee. I was bummed out that I couldnt go to sniper school because Im' a female, but I was wondering if females could be in the rifle team?

  • our marines can kick ass 500 yards away!

  • Hey Jimmy how do you get into competitive shooting? Does it get offered to you? Or did you find it yourself and sign up?

  • on target at 500 yrds?!?! Hell yea!

  • @RobbieChopSticks its not as amazing as it sounds. i used to do high power competitions and we would shoot ar-15 with 80 or 90 gr. bullets out to 600 yards.

mathmatically it is pretty amazing because if you take into account angle, bullet speed, wind speed, light, distance, target size, and variables of the projectile, one would probably assume its impossible.

with practice though anyone can do it.

  • I'm glad you illegal immigrants are on our side... The democrats

  • @snakesinmypants wow how ignorant are you. oh well, dumb idiotic people will always be around. it makes the world go round. good to have you around and i will pray for you

  • @snakesinmypants Leave the politics at your granny's house, Marines are not political. Can serve if your and illegal either. What have you done for your country mr. political man.

  • this is crazy. ive shot with the guy beside jimmydshea at camp butner before and camp perry. Ssgt. Duitsman is still one of the best Marine Corps Rifle Team shooters ever.

  • You know what is funny is that im in okinawa right now lol. Im at camp schwab.

  • First, how do you sign up for this stuff. Im a LCpl in the marines and I love shooting. But I havent heard a thing about shooting in compitions. Does it cost money? Or does the corp pay for it?

  • @safeace123 You're not a Marine. A Marine would never say "corp" or ask such retarded question. Go back to playing CoD, wannabe.

  • This and MCMAP kick ass XD

    Poolee Phommyvong, USMC

  • hey Jimmy what did you score on your rifle qual?

  • Nice! Iam a ranger. I could send you some pics of my me in uniform if you like?

  • what? did he just say "front sight front picture and right side alignment?????

    cpl boot

obviously this guy never paid attention and you don't need a neck gaitor in okianwa when it never gets below 70

  • By "right" he meant correct, and he didn't say "side" he said site, so he meant, correct site alignment. No matter what you say, he went on to shoot on the USMC Rifle Team and finished being ranked top 50 in the country, and that's out of all the branches plus civilian shooting.

  • how is boot camp and what is your MOS i want to be a USMC Infantry Riffleman or as u would say grunt and i will be joing to Parris Island for boot camp since im on the east of the Missisippi River in NYC and then SOI after that OCS i want to be an Officer since i want to make a living being in the Corps. did u go to MCT or SOI im 12 yrs. now and 13 in Feb. of 2010 so i will join when iam 18 right after high school and do u know if i can go to college after OCS while in the USMC i will join 2015

  • Plus it was below 50 degrees that day, wet and windy.

  • It gets cold in Okinawa when it isn't balls hot. I should know, been here on and off since '06.

  • Don't need all those layers. Well at least I didn't, but if you ask 10 different Marines, you would get 10 different answers on what to do.

  • i always had my cigs in the case in my sholder pocket to help keep the sling in place.

  • You guys rock.

  • nice work boys. here from your israeli colleague

  • You seem like a squared away proud Marine! Nice tips on the sling and fingertip pulse. Hoorah!

  • Glad you guys are on OUR side!

  • good tips

  • lol, tin. I cant wait to Join, ill be training for quite a while though.

  • "One shot, one kill!!"

  • Nervous about getting an expert.

  • i was a 4 time expert baby!!!!!!

  • aim at the face

  • Fuckin A

  • lol you forgot about the gravity and angle

  • Hey Thanks - enjoy your career and keep up the good work.

  • cool video. Dont like that M16 though. Too weak to use for hunting. I like the DPMS 6.5 Creedmoor or the LR 308.

  • ok can sombody tell me first y the marines have a base in japan

  • just curious to know, what made you choose the Marines jimmy?

  • Que chulo! Se ve buena gente!!

I'm going to bootcamp on December 7th 2009. I can't see to find a video on how is bootcamp for females.

I know is the same as males, but I just wanna see and hear from an experience female marine who just got out of boot camp.

  • what ever u do, you cant win, no chance, never have and never will. chicken shits he he

  • i must say jimmy yu look very handsome cleaned up in uniform lol

  • 500 yards with iron sights. Thats impressive i saw that grouping he put. great technique and shooting discipline. The corps is no joke i tilt my hat to you guys.

  • Excellent shooting.

  • could you talk about the

M-16-A4 my dad was a marine and wants to see the difference between an A1 and an A4 with a marine talking about it

  • you have attractive eyez! O.O

  • i see a marine dancing in the street^_^

    lol!!!!!

    hahahahhahaah.

    seriously..

  • seems really cool got information to help me join... i need what i can get...

  • whats your MOS? its gonna be so cool to shoot thousands of rounds of .223 and not pay a cent. I gotta pay at least 34 per 100 rounds here in Commiefornia, plus range fees. BULLLLLLSH1T!

  • They do the marines wrong they do most of the killin and yet they get us army guys hamy downs WRONG

  • thats all fine and dandy in comp, but for old school, we shot with without eye pro. that was considered artificial support. Old school Marines do shoot iron sights but we are evolving to ACOG. not taking anything away from you motivators. RAH!!!

he's only wearing a chevron because it bothers use while holstering the weapon in the shoulder. it is also tradition to give it to your range coach once you qualify as an expert.

  • Thanks my homies, im going to use the excellent skills to pwn noobs in CoD4!

  • Damnit! Should have watched it 6 months ago. Maybe I wouldn't have failed my last shooting qual. Good tips, anyway.

  • SEMPER FI

  • I test fired the "M16A1-E1" rifle at Quantico in 1981. That rifle would become the M16A2. We liked the changes. The square front sight post and the new windage dial was cool. They asked us YES or NO for the new rifle and we said HELL YEA!

By the way...there were 30 of us. 10 from 2ndMarDiv (me), 10 from 1stMarDiv and 10 from Ft. Bragg (Army). 2ndMarDiv outshot the others by 1,000pts! 2ndMarDiv = FOLLOW ME! Oohrah!

  • thanks devildog cause i really like the m16a2 9th comm 1mef

  • 1981 in quantico huh? by any chance have you met carlos hathcock?

  • hmmm i read a book on that guy he was a truley amazing marksmen

  • We simply refer to him as GOD.

  • i know. i wish i could have met him before he died. RIP Carlos...

  • As a soldier, I despised the A1. When I got my A2, my shooting scores went up, and became deadly with that rifle. I went from marksman to an expert shot. I know you guys qual at further distances, but, anywhere between 50 to 300 meters, an enemy only had a 2 out of 40 chance, if that, of not getting capped by me. With the M60, I did not miss at all. We call that Hawkeye in the army, and I was just that with the 60.

  • where is butler?

and y is he only wearing one set of chevrons?

nice medals devil dog... ha ha

  • I'm only wearing one set because they get scratched up by putting the rifle into my shoulder when I shoot, so it prevents me from having to buy a new pair.

  • Camp Butler is the umbrella name for all Marine Corps bases in Okinawa, Japan. He's only wearing one chevron because when he places his rifle buttstock in his shoulder, he can either chip his chevron or cause it to stab the hell out of himself while shooting.

  • He's only wearing one chevron because he'll be shooting all day. Place the rifle butt incorrectly on your shoulder and the chevrons start digging in.

  • thats cause the m16 is wat were im from we'ld call a varmit gun its only 223 and by th waay my spelling and grammer aint the best.

  • yeah but lets c high precision deep penetration and a bullet that tumblesdestroying tissue to cause large painful wounds in sand niggers works for me

  • its about the lightness and controlability of the weapon. a .223 round through a mans chest is never a good thing.

  • m16 can fire .223 but its chambered in 5.56 ar15 is chambered in .223

  • Two bullets through one whole thats what I call gun Control

  • Respect

  • Do marines qualify with iron sites or do they use acogs or any other scope? If your iron sites then that is pretty damn good.

  • They use Iron sights. Up to 500 meters to qualify. If you don't qualify you don't graduate from boot camp.

  • We qualify with Irons out to 500 yards.

  • Rifle qual is with the standard iron sights. You can always take optics off a rifle, but not always put them on. You need to know how to fire without all the bells and whistles. The harder, the better. Ooh-rah! Oh, not to mention, optics are not parallax-free, and can actually make you less accurate.

  • we qual with both.

when at boot camp you'll qual with iron sights

when you hit your unit you may qual with RCOs since when you deploy you'll be using RCOs on your A4

  • manufacturer installed iron sights. oohrah

  • army uses iron sites, so im assuming that since marines never try to fall below army standards, so they most likely use iron sites too.

  • Irons.

  • they use iron sights.

  • iron sights @ 500m

  • It use to be Iron sight but its been changed to an RCO, pretty fucking gay.

  • boot camp you qual for iron sights

fleet you qual with whatever you are issued, but most commonly its gonna be the ACOG

  • They qualify with iron sites.

  • no combat action ribbon? whats up with that?

  • its better to keep eyes open cause u can se the target

  • how many combat tours have you seen?

  • nice vid dude, congrats on the medals

from an ex millitery guy here, ive did abit of SF training, but you marines are SHIT HOT,top respect to ya lads.

    BE SAFE ALL

  • marines for me 2012 OOooouuraH!

  • Heh, I was on the Hansen rifle range for about a month one year, because they kept canceling due to weather. We were trying to qual as a big storm was moving in. I had a butterbar on my target and the poor guy was having a panic attack trying to shoot straight. (The wind and rain was BAD) but it was fun as hell.

  • learning how to shout isnt always taught by the marines....COUNTRY BOYS CAN SURVIVE!

  • That was actually some really helpful stuff. I never heard anything about how to keep your pulse from hindering your aim and all.

    Semper Fi

  • good shootin

  • yeah i'm in Army ROTC and i shoot pretty well but i didn't join the team... anyways yeah every thing ya'll said is true i found that out. But anybody that doesn't believe them- you should their telling the absolute truth.

  • Pizza box!

  • I've heard that expressions before at Recruit Training, what does that mean ?

  • ive heard that b4, what does that mean?

  • What i love is stuff like the 50 cal. or the M-16....even the M-4 look like they have kick...but they really dont. I shoot the M-16 all the time. It aint nothing. The 243 has more kick. My 12 guage has more kick. And i have the military tactical...and i got it for under 200 bucks and no i didnt sleep with the guy damn!!! i just lived with em.

  • lol my m1 carbine kicks more than the m16/m4 .223

  • Congrats man nice job you should be proud of those medals

  • God bless the Marine Corps!!!

    f**k all traitors and haters!

  • orrah!

  • yeah go kill for ur government smf

  • Do ya'll know Joshua Lord

  • thats my name, dont wear it out.

  • You gotta know somebody thats on one or participate in NRA or CMP sanctioned events and show skill and urge to do it.

  • Good shooting, Marines! And I enjoyed the shooting tips - breathing control is also important but I know that you know that.

The only thing I wish they would train our military members in, all branches, is the basics of constitutional law; with special emphasis on the Bill of Rights. The reason for this idea is that we (yes, I was in the military) were all told that we didn't have to follow unlawful orders - but we weren't trained on how to distinguish a lawful order from an unlawful one.

  • those cammies look badass!! better than the army's and the army's are badass

  • what happened to breathing control?

  • why thumb down this? breathing is important =_=

  • I know Marines hate the old salty dog stuff but I gotta say you guys are much different then we were. I guess more professional and polite.

. When I was in I was in Naval Guns/ FO/CAS fire planning as an 0861. We were a bit rougher around the edges I guess. Good job on the shooting Marines. I still do long range precision shooting with my custom 300 WM

Now I am a 43 yr old exec in Silicon Valley good luck Marines.

  • Hey salt dog were still bad muthafuckers. Especialy 29 palms grunts.

  • yeah 29 palms grunts!

  • 0861 did you have to go to Fort sill because i hated that fucking place.

  • word!!! fort sill sucks donkey balls

  • haha pogs. Totally different from the grunt qual. We dont use parade slings, eye patches, shooting gloves, or any of that extra shit. Although we do get to use the acog. however i would rather use iron sights for the range. For all the people that want to join the marines. Really consider which life style you want. Being a grunt is totally opposite from pogs.

  • This is not a qual he was shooting at, it was Division Matches, so everything about it is going to be different.

  • Grunt qual.... As if there were such a thing. The Marine Corps has strict orders and regulations concerning the KD course that all Marines regardless of MOS have to qualify on. But, you are right on determining which lifestyle you want when you join being important. Your welcome to come out to Quantico and shoot a 500-800 agg course against me. Bring your ACOG you might need it, I'm good to a distance of 600 yards with iron sights.

  • You can either be a poge out shooting grunts in matches while on the Marine Corps Shooting Team. Or a grunt who doesn't know how to read their LES calling the poges office asking why they are not getting paid.

  • haaa muniz you kill me...combat admin!!

    Torres

  • just about everything Muniz said was helpful except for the all that extra clothes crap (to prevent pulse from moving the rifle)Hell no, the less the better so you can hold the rifle tight against your shoulder/arm

  • In competition, not just Marine Corps, they wear layers of clothes, sweaters AND a shooting jacket..they do the same at the Olympics.

  • yo im so gonna be a marine after highschool imma be a sniper :P. have u been in actual combat?

  • Everyone wants to be a god damn sniper! Its not what you think it is. If you want to get an idea, low crawl on your stomach for 4 hours in a circle, find an ant hill, destroy the ant hill, and lay on top of it for and hour. And thats just crawling around. After the hour of ants, try to make a couple good shots. If you still want to be a sniper, don't eat for a week. Repeat

  • I'm sure with your vast amount of experience shooting high pressure matches you are all knowing when it comes to shooting. The extra gear helps with your pulse beat mainly because it regulates your body temperature. Believe it or not your heart does react differently depending on your boy temperature. I guess the Marine Corps shooting team which I am currently a member of issues out and requires every member to wear up to two sweatshirts while we shoot so we can look good doing it...

  • twin cities!? im from minnesota too. lookin for some tips on shooting long range. that pulse stuff really helped me out. thanks

  • Man i miss the Corps

  • i cant wait to join the corps

  • hey guys looking for a freind to go out and shoot with have mark 4 remmy 700 and aimpoint m1a socom 2 middleburgh NY thanks Ben

  • Graet Job Marines

  • this really helps, he knows what hes talkin about

  • joining but hopefully going to school for the army then switching to the marines so i have a degree

  • I was a member of the 3D FSSG rifle/pistol team that won the Shively Trophy at the '92 Far East Division Matches in Camp Hansen, Okinawa. I shot a 269 with 5Xs, and was the highest shooter in my team. I know it's not a high score, but we shot at night, in the rain, and the highest shooter that night only shot 277. What did your buddy shoot to get his bronze medal in the pistol? BTW, congratulations on getting your silver medal! Did you go to Camp Perry?

  • did i catch that right?... once your in a comp and win a medal, that medal for the comp will replace your expert rifle medal on your uniform?

  • nice tips devil--I shot 224 on table 1 last week

  • That's what I shot in bootcamp..shot 238 last year..hopefully I'll shoot higher this year. Good on you though!

  • what do i have to do to be in a rifle team? im really interested? please reply thanks.

  • What do you have to do to be in a rifle team? Well first off I would say is to be a Marine, the second you need to shoot really fuckin good.

  • Try a recruiter.

  • have any of you started testing the 6.5/6.8 yet? what do you think? def a far superior round to the 223, give you guys a better chance on the ground. we need to rewrite the rules of engagement and make a clause to geneva so we can confront our enemies on equal ground, i.e hollow points.

  • :) Oorah!

  • Semper Fi!! cant w8 to join the corps

  • Nice job Leathernecks! I qualified on that range in 1984 with a typhoon about 90 miles off shore, lots of rain and wind. Several went unqualified, I shot my only pizza box, barely, and proud of it....

  • what does pizza box mean

  • i think it might mean that the spread was as big as a pizza box, but i could be completly wrong though.

  • Marksman. The lowest qualifying badge (It's square like a pizza box). Expert is highest, Sharpshooter is middle and then Marksman. If you dont't qualify you hold your hand over you pocket.

  • lol, your so lucky. You had such as cool grandpa

  • 1.copy and paste 8 times on diffrent videos

    2.then,look at your profile background

  • hey ahhhwhereditgo, is ur mos 0656, cuz thats what job i chose, i leave for boot may 18

  • good luck, i am was an 0651, now a data chief, be prepared to be surrounded by geeks.

  • You remember from only being a couple years old lol. Why is ya gramps givin a 2 year old a gun HAHAHA

  • Hi Cousin Stevie this is Erika Im so PROUD of you!!!

  • hey jimmydshea u think u can make a vid showing off ur medals ribbons and uniform? thanks

  • why dont marines use m4 ?

  • because m 16 is more accurate army does thogh

  • m16 is the standard issue for all riflemen in the US

  • they do but they also use m16s as well

  • marines do use the M-4 I had one after i had my saw and had it for 5 years. We only had like 30 A-4s in the platoon the rest were M-4s

  • wich one is better

  • because this is not call of duty 4 lol
