Playing a guitar with Ableton Live 8 Looper

Hi, I need to figure out how to set the metronome sync'ed at time with a mp3 I import to unto play over.

I need the metronome to start some seconds before the song start in order to prepare myself to play at time.

Quick question, I have my guitar plugged into a amp and my amp is plugged in to my computer when I arm my track, I get a extremely loud annoying feedback noise someone please help!!

@huliniswhoiam Be sure to check your audio input options in Ableton. Make sure you've selected a built-in input of some sort and not a built-in microphone.

Line 6 is an amazing bit of kit, unfortunately, to get no latency (delay) when using podfarm as a VST, you have to purchase the licence...! £40..... what i do is record it then drag the audio back to get the guitar in time, its long, but it works!! (Using ableton 7 .0.4)
