  • Is it strictly a groom board or can it handle chop as well? I was all set to buy the 168, but a Bomber thread had me looking at freecarve boards with a more rounded nose.

  • @Felixxilef The short answer would be "Yes". This is an alpine race snowboard , so by design it is intended for groomed runs. However, if you have seen what race courses become during a race , you know they can get very rough and chopped up. I too like a bit more nose, that is more oldschool in todays race world. The nose size is keep low to reduce vibration and weight. I prefer to have more nose for riding the softer groomers and days when there is some fresh on top. I am not a racer.

  • That looks gr8 with the steady cam, thanks for this! I'll just keep pretending with my old late 90s alpine board ;-)

  • @oldmanskates "Steady Cam" ??? It is a camera on a pole broom handle!!! :)

  • @FINELINECLUB LOL :-D Broom handle and a steady arm, nice!

  • I don't recall. It is twice that now?

Unfortunately we have lost allot of the last two weeks.

  • Hood had like what 40" base at that time?

  • wow amazing maybe its time I learn to snowboard

  • Looks great!

Thanks Tom, 17 turns of fun!! The rider at the end is Mike Tinkler who builds most of my snowboards and the plate on this Kessler. What a gorgeous day it was!! Hope all is well. Bryan
