Look at the double and triple bogeys and keep a record of what is leading to it (e.g driving out of bounds, three putts, or a difficult hole) and try to manage the course accept bogey if the SI is 1.
Another thing to try is to play 2 balls per hole. Record both scores, it may give a better indication of the variation per hole per ball and maybe show some of the holes with greater variance to be the score card wreckers.
if someones practicing putting on the course green you should tell them not to right at the spot, so that they learn.
