Isn't today the 20th anniv of the end of the Soviet Union? These guys did help to win the ww2 got to credit them for that they did the major fighting.

If I was Premier of the USSR, all Stalinism would be abolished, all fascism abolished, and only Leninism would become reality. The one thing that I would do - to erase all Stalinist-like regimes like DPRK and others, and replacing them with Leninist governments, but if it gets to the worst possible case, the country would have to be occupied until the loyalists of the deposed leader are either captured or killed.

@StealthDefender1 It went from a third world country to our level in 10 years. I think 9/11 had alot to do with this. DO you think this is a possibly theory? America needs help, we dont know what to do with our goverment. The young people of today like socialism. They like to call the goverment if theres an ice storm to help repair or anything else they are used to big goverment. The Baby boomers (born after ww2) want small goverment. We like the people to have the money.

@StealthDefender1 However after 9/11 we focused on the terrorist and china claimed to hate them as well. So we became "allies" in a sence. Had 9/11 not occured we would have made a small cold war with china. Over Tibet, abuse of its people, communism and so on. This would have prevented there explosion in advancement, the west probably backed us to boycott china. Chinas economy is build largely on the west spending there. If you look at chinas economy in 2000 and 2010, its BOOMED like crazy

@StealthDefender1 the problem is how do we the people know whats the truth going on there. We only find out a couple years later what is fact from fiction. N. Korea:They told us that the N had invaded the south, that the s begged us for help that they didnt want communism, similar story in vietnam. Same thing in grenada. Kuwait: Iraq invaded, were were there to liberate the Kuwaitis. Afganistan: After Terrorists 9/11. Iraq: weapons of MD, threat to region, then change story, liberate iraqis.

@meronmotors We dont know what to belive, our people are FUROUIS with our goverment. This is why they voted that lie obama. He promised "Change" If you promise water to a starving man he want to belive you. This is the only reason he made it in. He was just a politician. America needs help. I would like to point out somthing. Most people dont notice. You may agree or may not. Before 9/11 america was starting to make an enemy of china again. They are our idealogical enemy

@meronmotors Chinas not our enemy. Our enemy was never socialism, Europes very socialist and their not our enemy. Communist governments are dictatorial yet many of our allies are dictatorial. Like Karl Marx stated; it all boils down to economics.

Though Chinas government is dictatorial their economy is capitalist thus theiv been a strong allied of USA since the 60's.

USSR has a centralized closed economy thus they were out enemy. This is why their economy was $hit in 90's & no 1 outside noticed

@prjerry7 I respect your opninion but i dont agree. For example. You stated that China and usa have been allies since the 60s however If youve read cold war books you will find that probably the MAIN reason the soviets sino relations split is because Kruschev aprroved of a coexistance stratedgy with the capatalists. The chinese felt that the soviets no longer stuck to the revolutionist ideals. The chinese did not feel the two ideals could coexist and war was inevidable

@prjerry7 I agree some ofour closest allies (canada)r socialists however they are democratic as well.yes we supported dictatorships throughout the cold war however we really supported ANYONE and ANYTHING antisoviet.This changed in after the cold war. I hope.The closed economy killed the soviets no doubt. However they did start buying from outside and selling outside but it didnt save them. They goverment failed. I hopewe americans stop putting so much faith in goverment.We need rely on ourselves

@StealthDefender1 Inall statistics that have been taken on our last 5 wars the american people have been largely against the wars,we dont have a choice.Notice our goverment was DIEING to join ww2.The people did not want it,it was a democracy so the people had there way. Until pearl harbor finally gave reason. After ww2 the goverment never gave control back to the people.They said we had to be ready for the soviets. So time went by.Afte the collapse of the sovietunion we were already used to this

I did belive we were helping free people from evil corrupt goverments, Almost all americans think we are in our wars to help people live as nice as we and the british do. If you see a dog out in the street you want to help it before a car comes. Its his choice to sit there however so what right do I have to move him. Americans are not corrupt or greedy people, We have a goverment who sticks its nose in everything which we hate.

I know america turned us against the soviets I have read alot about the country and its not pure evil HOWEVER If the United states aloud our states to gain independence from the rest NOT ONE would leave the the union. In the USSR the second the nations smelt a ounce of freedom from the union they all claimed independence within a couple of months. They were THRILLED to escape. The only people who complain of the slip are russians. I mean all the money went back to moscow so I could see why
