@kunz82414 Man you don't know what your talking about.....The CR500 has a HP advantage over the 650R no matter how you gear them...the 500 wins. The 250 will lose quite badly to a 650R. I own a 650R and would never claim that it would beat a cr500. But i will claim that it will own a CRF450X and a KTM450SXF with similar gearing.
@FlightinmyVeins I did not say anything about a CR500 in my previous comment; a CR500 is definitely faster than an XR650R. I currently own an XR650R and a CRF450R. I think my 450 is faster and my old CR250R was faster up to about 75 mph. My XR does not feel nearly as quick, but has a greater top speed of the 3 bikes.
Nice video! Love CR500's AND big pig's, and I get the point.. two completely different machines. But If you geared the pig the same as the CR you wouldn't see it for dust. Like for like and all that... ;)
@xr650man I hate to inform you but Maico and so does ATK makes a 700cc 2 stroke MX bike and Maico makes a 700cc offroad 2 stroke dirt bike and it would smoke that heavy xr650 and the CR500 is a "Motocross bike" not a desert bike so it is not supposed to have "high top speed" u4mynuts nice video by the way
@xr650man And a 650 doesnt work that good for a track that well either and thats what my 500 was built for not to do 130 miles an hour i top out at about 65 he can kill me in top end. They are two differnt machines.
dude get rid of the factory carb and put a fcr carb on it and it will smoke that 500 . my 650 smokes all of my buddys bikes 450s to kx 500. it freekin rips !
@vitaliyr1 The xr has 11.1 pistion all the intake mods stage 3 cam by xr onlys little porting the thing doesnt even come on till 4gear. My freind thought he could beat me every where i know that i cant beat him from 4 gear on he does have more top end.My cr500 is .40 over milled head the ports where just cleaned up it has a pwk 39.5 on it fmf gnarly wisco pistion it hits hard thats why he cant beat me out of the hole he did learn his leason about big bore towstrokes you cant mess beeeet them...
looks like the 650 still has the stock muffler on it, thats why you shouldnt believe what you see on here

@vitaliyr1 CR is a '92 with pro circuit exhaust.
XR is a 2000 with Stage 1 hotcams, Wiseco High compression piston, open airbox cover and full FmF system.
XR has highest top speed by far, but CR has hardest hit and acceleration.
