Al-Qummi, author of the famous book Mafaatihul-Jinaan, writes in his book: I say, Shimr was in the forces of Ameer al-Mumineen on the Day of Siffin. (Al-Qummi, Safinatun-Najaat, vol.4, p. 492, Chapter Sheen Followed by Meem).

It should be remembered that the paternal aunt of Shimr, Umm Banin bint Kharam, was the wife of Hazrat Ali (Karramallahu taala wajhah) and whose off-springs were Abbas, Abdullah, Jafar, and Uthman and all the four brothers were accompanying Imam Husain in this encounter. Thus Shimr was the paternal cousin of all the four brothers and also of Imam Husain (radiyallahu anh).

furthermore u mentioned shimr (l.a) as a shia then my friend read my last comment u might understand what i mean to say and who is called a true shia but still i should explain..... shimr killed imam hussain(a.s) and as i said before those who follow the 14 infallibles are called shia not a person who kills one of them.. and killing them?? a person thinking bad about them will not be called a shia!! to add shimr should not even be called human! from the way that he killed imam Hussain(a.s)

lol @ ShiaMunafiq who holds enmity against HAzrat Ali(a.s) and the 14 infallibles will never know the true meaning of shia and will acceppt shia beliefs. Moreover, shias are the followers of hazrat Ali(a.s) and those who follow him, the holy prophet(p.b.u.h), and the teachings of the 14 infallibles is the rightful shia and that is the person who i to be called a shia!

The truth is that there is no such thing as Imamah, and the Doors of Prophethood have forever been closed with the Prophet Muhammad (صلّى الله عليه وآله وسلّم). There is nobody after him, and anyone who claims this is a Dajjal. The last Prophet was Muhammad (صلّى الله عليه وآله وسلّم) and his name was mentioned in the Quran. Where are these other so-called Infallible Imams in the Quran? Why did Allah not include them?

ALI HAS NO LINK WITH SHIAS. WHERE ALI WHERE THESE MUNAFIQEENS.

The doors of "Prophet hood" were closed, Prophet Mohammad(p.b.u.h) was the last Prophet "khatam un nabbiyen" and u r right that anyone who claims to be Prophet after him is and will be a dajjal! but tell me this that is it mentioned anywhere that there will be no 'imam' after Prophet Mohammad(p.b.u.h) no one said that and its nowhere in the Quran. u r talking about two different subjects and trying to mix them.i m sorry but u urself are confused
