  • This really does not sound the least bit like Ace on guitar.

  • Catman's own version is much better, I think. This one is pretty dull and from Kiss' disco days. Also, Dirty Livin' is excellent compared to this, so no surprised it was left off although it could've been there since 9 songs is a bit slim.

  • Dynasty would have been a weaker album with this song instead of one Ace song or something. Dynasty is a kind of Paul and Ace album. Weird really

  • wonder why this didnt make the dynasty cut?

  • @thenorthwind Because it is sung by Peter Criss.

  • @thenorthwind good question?! i think its a way better song than dirty livin retard!!:)jk lol

  • LOVE Peter's vocals!!! Thanks!!!

  • This song is not on the album...I have been a KISS fan since 1977:) I have never heard this song before...(Shame on me) ;)

  • @christianoleg KISS fan since 79 and I havent heard most of this demos before now. Fun fun fun :)

  • this sucks. love Kiss this is not Kiss its poo

  • probably one of my favourites...

  • YOU WANTED THE BEST, YOU GOT THE BEST, THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD, KIϟϟ

  • @Bassmaster970 How did you get KISS to be written like that?

  • @boogiefever1985 I found it on my buddys channel, it was taken down. if you want it jus copy and paste! i dont know how to make it though.

  • Just heard the Peter Criss solo version and....the band should have gone with this one. This is a great track.

  • whywasn't this on the album? it's a rather good song in my opinion

  • does no one else think the intro sounds like Layla - Eric Clapton?

  • It maybe a good song to some people, but this just doesn't really fit a KISS album IMHO.

  • much better than out of control 1981

  • I ♥ this song!

I think this version is better than the original

  • Gene and Bob Ezrin helped turn Beck into Beth. Peter is important but all four were but honestly they could have lived with out peter, Without ace that is a different story.. Oops....

  • @hollandrocksls It took all 4 to make KISS other wise Wicked Lester would have been there choice for fame

  • @Acekicken My reply was regarding the importance of beth. Peter did not put that whole song together himself. Ace had way more to do with the heavy kiss sound. Listen to his albums. Listen to peters. Peter is a fabulous drummer but finding a special player like ace at that time would have been hard. It would have been Jay Jay French or the bald Bob Kulick, again i think kiss could have went far without peter......

  • @hollandrocksls Dude I have all of Ace's CD's he has always been my Fav. I agree with you whole heartedly about Beth all I fell is it took all 4 but Im a fa of all KISS

  • This demo is so much better than the version that ended on Peter's album!

  • @KISSbestfan im getting sick of seeing your videos like this one this is NOT a dynasty demo its Peters song called out of control from his album out of control do a little research before you post things

  • Very funny. There's more complete line up on here than on other songs that made the final album!

  • No, no no. Peter's version on Out of Control is better.

  • @SgtPepper96034

The hell it is. No, this version has much more soul.

  • out of control not is the albun dynasty

  • Better than I though it would be! Peter did have a great song on Dynasty with 'Dirty Livin' he had a great voice, too bad he was so messed up all the time...

  • @jc1305us i have too disagree peter never had a great voice! the studio helped that!! listen to beth on destroyer, then listen to alive2! the studio can be a great friend!!

  • Being a huge KISS fan I bought this album right away only to be totally turned off by this kind of crap. Thank God for "At Budokan" and "Highway To Hell".

  • To me, it sounds like the riff to "Games People Play" by Alan Parson Project.

  • song has nothin' to do with dynasty ? wtf

  • why didnt this make it onto dynasty?its a good song!

  • @tarot9230 I agree this is a song that should've been on Dynasty. But the song was on Peter's first solo record after he left Kiss. In fact, the name was OOC. I haven't heard the song from his solo, but I believe its the original recording.

  • Demo's RULE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • When will people realize, Ace doesn't want to be in the band anymore! He quit in the 80s and he quit now and I understand why, its not easy to tolerate asshole Gene

  • ONCE AGAIN THIS IS NOT A DYNASTY DEMO, THIS IS FROM OUT OF CONTROL, AND PETER IS THE ONLY KISS MEMBER ON THIS DEMO...

  • Man, ain't no way...I lived it and their fan base was so huge worldwide by the time the 80's hit that they would have cruised through those years with no sweat. When will people understand that the original 4 members ARE KISS...all the others were just cover bands of KISS themselves!!!!

  • @MegaGuitarzilla bullshit....original is not alway the greatest!!!!!!,when will fans get this shit out of thier dumb ass heads....those two guys(guitar and drums, ace and peter were not that great and you would not be saying they were that great if it were the other way around and ace and peter came afterwards!!!

  • i love working at goodwill...

  • @EricCarr5091 I'm not saying I have anything against Paul. I love him ;)

I just get critical when it comes to some members. That's just how I am. I miss Ace and Peter though :(

  • @EricCarr5091 I like Eric Singer when he was in Revenge cuz he looks WAY hotter with that long blonde hair :d

Tommy to me is alright, but not Ace. Ace is KISS. He designed the logo for KISS. He wrote all the best songs. I think Eric Singer should be the Hawk and Tommy Thayer should be the Beaver or Black Widow or Tarantula or something! lol

  • @EricCarr5091 well, my favorite line-up was with Eric Carr and Vinnie Vincent. Gene is so evil to me! Vinnie is my favorite member, and even though he did some stuff, like suing KISS for money, I still like him.

  • @EricCarr5091 i actually love all the members, except for Tommy and Gene. Gene is obviously evil, cuz he kicked out Vinnie. Peter left; wasn't Paul or Gene's fault. So did Ace. Peter is a freakin legend! Love him!

  • I got the LP by peter that is called Out of Control

  • Probably a good decision to leave this track off the LP. Not a bad tune, and not too disco, not really disco at all actually, but it lacks something. I think it's a bit too soft, and compared to the other tracks from Dynasty, for me, it lacks that catchy hook that are synonymous with KISS songs from the 70's era.

  • @MyInnerEyeMike99 the begining, middle and end are all the same....it's the same riff, the riff runs straight through the song...cool though.

  • peter has the hottest song on dynast dirty livin is the shit. hes not a bad drummer if the stories about him were true then he was a liability dont beleive everything you hear especially from gene. But eric was a better and much rough drummer. with fast playing. But peter gave everybody what they wanted just look at the 1996 tour he punded and played fast. but this song is too disco.

  • peter has the hottest song on dynast dirty livin is the shit. hes not a bad drummer if the stories about him were true then he was a liability dont beleive everything you hear especially from gene. But eric was a better and much rough drummer. with fast playing. But peter gave everybody what they wanted just look at the 1996 tour he punded and play fast.

  • Peter had a big influence on Kiss sound, he was also inspired by jazz, Rnb and swing. Paul and Gene also confirms his in official interviews. You can hear some swinging style on some of the 70s recordings. I was not technical skill, but more the feel and vibe Peter brought to KISS. Thats what makes him special in KISStory. Lets not forget that the ballad Beth did great things for KISS. To the present and the past. Lets all hail and raise our glasses for a true rock legend : PETER CRISS.

  • @ugk73 : yes Beth did great things for Kiss but it was also the reason the original band fell apart. Peter got the big head and thought he should have a lot more songs on Kiss albums because of Beth's success. It got so bad that he actually believed his solo album would sell better than the other bandmember's. Well, he got a serious dose of reality when it actually sold the worst of the 4. I love Peter but his bitterness destroyed him and his place in Kiss. Long live Eric Singer!!!!!

  • @ugk73 All true.

  • Out Of Control has been later the title of Peter's solo album - and it's typical Peter-music

  • Singer is the most talented IMO right there is CARR the "BONHAM" of KISS. Volumes of cred for the originality thing but CRISS is a DISTANT third in the pure dumming ability dept.

  • @demonsRus1 singer is a slightly more cooler, style, than peter, his style is like peter if he were to play fast and with enthusiasum.=]

    oh well

  • @EricCarr5091 CARR pulled a Pete on many '80's albums according to the CRISS fanatic ! You hear this one ?

  • @EricCarr5091 watch Criss on the farewell tour trying to do the drum part in ILIL ! It's apparent that either ERIC is more than capable of playing any Criss era song but not visa versa. I wish they would have done a reunion makeup tour with CARR before his untimely death

  • @MrLEGIONLIVES

listen to peter on alive! he was much better than carr.

  • Thanks for posting this! I think it's great! I really dig the rhythm

  • But this Kiss song is true crap, their classic songs era is 1973-1977. Listen to U2's 'Out of Control'.

  • U2's first 'single'-song was also 'Out of Control', also released in 1979.

  • I think if Peter put this on his kiss solo album, it might have stood a chance. I could see why it didnt make dynasty though. No need to have 2 of Peters songs on an album explaining the same problem. The other being Dirty Livin

  • it should be on dynasty. much better than any shit like magic touch or x-ray eyes.

  • peter was my favorite kiss member when i was little, and part inspiration for learning to play the drums. but he was just a beat keeper, and was no gene kruppa. the early stuff had a lot of energy, but his latter days in kiss were pretty bad. when i finally saw them on the 2000 farewell tour, he didn't even do a solo. his alive solo was only cool because they used a phaser or something on it. eric carr was better, and eric singer is way better.

  • This sounds like the background music for an ABC after school special.

  • @dtv525

    AHAHAHAHA!!! It sure does :)

  • I *think* Peter's the only guy from KISS on this demo. This song ended up being the title track of his first post-Kiss solo album. Sounds to me like people on this demo are also on that LP.

  • i think 4 ppl missed the like button!!!

  • Peter's just a fantastic singer, one of those great RnR voices. And lest anyone foreget, he could pull it off live, too.

  • This was Peters solo album after he left KISS,I used to have this album. It had a Pat Benatar song on it too.You better run I think.I wish I woulda kept it now even though it sucked.

  • thank God this piece of shit NEVER made onto a KISS album-

  • I wanted to be like pete and people always said I was good at ddoing his drum solo's I was calld "reefer" back then or "jimmy weed"

  • why was ths not put on the dynasty. Sounds great to me

  • PETER IS STILL 1 OF MY FAVORITES!!!!!!

  • They SOOOO should have included this on Dynasty.

  • I979?

  • firstly this song should have been on the record. i can see why pete was getting tired of the band.

    2. Pete was having a hard time during this record and they used another drummer. BUT this demo proves Pete was on still capable of recording the record. I think Kiss were jerks to pete.

As for his drumming, he has so much feel it hurts. Drumming is NOT about technical ability, its about feel and sound and Pete had it more than any drummer in the 70s. Drummers are too technical/boring these days.

  • @MatteiAffair Nice one, couldn't have said it better myself. Peter Criss is so underrated, and yup I've no doubt at all that they were jerks to Pete. There's only one Cat! Long live Peter Criss!!

  • well alot of peters songs, and dont get me wrong hes got a cool voice, but the lyrics arnt very good and often dont make sence, like "Hooligan"

  • i don't kno why trippin' on this song... The songs good!

  • listen to the guiter too... ace is god

  • Well I HATE kISS's disco era but not a bad song. Replace charisma with this. I love kiss always have always will, but gene can't write worth a sht

  • @KISSAceGenePaulPete1

    Yeah hate disco era....

but Charisma is a good song!

  • @KISSAceGenePaulPete1 Actually, Gene has written almost every famous guitar riff in every Kiss song! At least Paul's parts! Read it in an interview in a swedish rock magazine! So actually he IS a good musician... At least it gave me new respect for the guy!

And Peter Criss's voice is <3

  • this one should have made it to the album

  • Peter, Eric Carr, Eric Singer, whoever...they are/were all great drummers.

Peter, Ace, Gene and Paul will forever be the original band. That is hard to let go for many...myself included. But the current lineup is doing well, entertaining thousands and continuing on what was created in 1973.

Personally I don't care to see the current lineup but I am happy they are still going forward so kids today can experience the joy I did when I was young. KISS Rules!

  • peter was an average at best drummer

  • But there are average drummers that stand out when they can do it great..saying this as an eric carr fan too, and a drumer.

the fastest, and most technical drummers are not always the best...

  • @cliffjumper1984

    So true!

I dislike people says like "No, he`s better couse he can play faster"

Peter Criss is the best drummer I know!

I just love his syle and attitude!

Yes he don`t play that tehnical,

    but his style owns! :D

  • But the thing is..most people who say it...ARE NOT drummers.

I take it by your name you're one, and so am I

    :D

  • @cliffjumper1984

Yeah, that can be true... ; )

    Haha yeah ; O

  • so was Ringo, it doesn't really matter - it's all about chemistry

  • the only drummer kiss ever had!! peter fuckin criss!!!

    best drummer ever!

  • I have always like Peter Criss vocals. Good song which should have been on the album...

  • hmm anyone ever comapred this song with Clapton's LEILA? ;-)

  • agree

  • This is certainly a better version than the one on the album "Out of Control."

  • this song is way better than charisma and magic touch if u ask me. and dynasty only have 9 songs. why didnt this song make it?

  • It is from his 1st album and Eric Carr was a way better drummer. I am not a drummer but I do have ears and can hear very well.

  • even tho Eric is dead he can still win in a drumming competition with peter in my opinion Eric is on the same lvl as Neil peart and john bonham

  • this is a song demo for Peter's first or second solo album after he was out of Kiss and the album was called out of control. I have also seen there is one called theres nothing better which is also off of Out of Control

  • Very late 70s pop-rock sound to it.

  • 3:19 peter said: "out of contrul!!!"

    were they recording the song?

yeah I know, maybe Im stupid for thinking that even though it sounded like he said "contrul", Im not english btw.

  • peter and his jazz! I did'nt dig when i was young, but I've grown to love this shit.

  • eric was better but peter fit the group very good and he was the original drummer and he looked great on stage when the stage in 1977 would send up the the drum kit and shoot sparks and fire and you see peter up there crossing his stix that was groudbreaking shit! i still havent seen to many bands doing today what kiss did back in 1977/78

  • Peter fit the band better. Eric Carr was too good for the band. It was like putting a Lamborghini engine into a Ford Fiesta. Eric Carr is way much better drummer than Peter Criss. He could yank him out of his ass anyday. Just liste to his double bass pedal work on his drum solos. Amaizing drummer all the way.

  • metellion, there is more to music than techinal skill. There are different styles, and something called CHEMISTRY. I'll take the overall sound from rock n roll over anyday. Plus Carr could'nt sing. Not that I don't love that era too, I'm just sayin it's not that cut and dry, and Peter helped make KISS what they were. Plus, beth and hard luck w opened the floodgates for radioplay and female mainstr4am listeners. Petey was GOLD to KISS.If eric were there first, kiss wouldnt a been as big

  • Thats what I wanted to say...I wonder if he says that as a drummer or not. Cause I play

  • actually eric is an awesome singer have u heard his solo album rockology or him singing young and wasted live plus black diamond its fucking amazing

  • Eric Carr couldn't sing? That's news to me, and plenty other people. It's Peter who is actually tone deaf and therefore, by definition, can't sing. The fact that he can actually make something interesting out of his vocals is proof that can be overcome, but technically, he can't sing. To downplay Eric Carr's role in KISS by comparing it to what came before his time in the band is unfair and wrong on every level. It's nearly sacrilige to speak ill of Eric Carr's contributions to KISS.

  • And as an FYI to anyone reading this, it isn't to say Peter's contributiuons to KISS should ever go unnoticed. But in many ways, over Peter's time in the band, he deteriorated from what he was to a sad excuse for a human being, for many many years. He has since, for the most part, renounced his prior demons, and good for him.

  • I think Peter was the star of the AeroKISS tour, of the Symphony show. But with his overall attitude of complaining constantly, I can see why Gene and Paul decided to cut him loose again. It's business. Why put up with crappy employee attitudes when you're the boss?

I apologize for spreading this out over 3 posts..but I couldn't get my point across in 200 characters!

  • couldn't have said it better!!

  • definitely a Criss-style song, good for his solo stuff, but definitely not a KISS-sounding song.

  • Sounds lot like peters solo album songs.

  • peter was the best drummer in kiss, the ony and the best catman

  • best singer-drummer you mean,

Eric Carr was a way better drummer...I know cause I play drums..

  • @alejandroburboa

That is a reasonable comment ,Peter had amazing feel and Gene Krupa like chops.

  • @alejandroburboa

you are right sir!!! peter is THE man, he is a legend!!

what he did in the 70s was awesome!! much better than carr and singer.

  • @petercriscuola : i'm sorry man but i totally disagree. carr and singer are far superior drummer and are definitely more rock and roll drummers than peter. peter had some kool songs but no way can he touch carr or singer.

  • @strutter0812

carr and singer had more technique but peter was better becouse he was more original, he had an unique style and he was better for kiss.

just listen to songs like shock me, love her all i can, detroit rock city, etc!

carr and singer never did something as great as that.

  • @petercriscuola : just listen to the entire album of creatures of the night. carr blows everything peter did away. same thing with singer on revenge. plus they've both far and away blew peter away on songs peter played on originally. carr and singer's drumming on detroit rock city, love gun etc. took those songs to a whole new level. i know you're a peter fan but the big thing i liked about peter was his stage presence. great live personality. but no way he was near as good as carr and singer.

  • @strutter0812

i dont find anything great on creatures, sorry.

maybe you like the sound, which has nothing to do with eric.

you should listen to alive! that was some great drumming.

peter was unique, carr was just another 80s drummer.

  • @petercriscuola : dude even ace was very impressed with carr. no offense but carr was far superior than peter, and peter was great in '75 and '76. but if you're going to talk about live stuff listen to carr's live stuff all through the 80's and singer on alive 3. they bury peter. nuff said.

  • @strutter0812

again i dont agree at all.

eric carr sucked live! he ruined all the old songs, he had no groove.

and singer... well i dont like how he played in the 90s, he overplayed a lot, i think now he is better.

peter was a much better drummer, he had less technique, but he had groove, style and he was perfect for kiss, nothing can touch shock me or detroit rock city.

  • @petercriscuola : again i totally disagree with you. carr sucked live? ruined all the old song and had no groove? you have got to be kidding!! carr played the songs the way a metal drummer would have played metal songs. kiss was a metal band in the 70's, not a jazz/pop/rock band which is peter's style. peter grew up a jazz drummer, not a hard rock/metal drummer. that's why carr fit kiss' style better. you need to turn down your green peter criss ears and listen to what a great drummer carr was.

  • @strutter0812

    yep, carr had no groove.

and sorry but peter was much better for kiss, thats why the golden years were with peter, the best albums and songs were recorded with peter, not carr.

peter was awesome, his style was unique and he was perfect for kiss, even gene and paul have said this.

  • @petercriscuola : peter was not much better for kiss. peter was a jazz drummer not a rock drummer. also gene even said carr was a much better drummer than peter. buried peter, but it was a different music. saying carr had no groove shows you just don't want to believe carr was better than peter. you're a peter fan. bottom line is carr had plenty of groove and was a far better rock/hard rock/metal drummer than peter, hands down. not my problem if you don't wanna believe that.

  • @strutter0812

gene said peter was better for kiss, and said he wanted the originals to stay together.

again, carr ruined all the early songs, he had no groove, no feeling, he was just fast and had power, nothing original in his playing.

peter was one of a kind, his style was perfect for kiss.

nothing carr did was better than shock me, love her all i can, detroit rock city, etc!! THATS ROCK AND ROLL..

  • @petercriscuola : i've never heard gene say peter was betetr for kiss. yes he said he wished the original band had stayed together but he also said carr buried peter as a drummer. BURIED. what don't you get? carr actually improved the early songs because he was a better drummer. and actually your whole BS argument of him having no groove is just that, BS! you're making crap up to support YOUR favorite drummer. take off your green colored sunglasses. carr had groove, so does singer.

  • @strutter0812

    gene did say it.

and sorry but all you said is just your opinion, not fact.

the early songs with carr sucked, its my opinion and i know MANY kissfans that think the same way, its all opinion.

i think peter was much better, carr never recorded something as great as peter did on those first 6 albums.

    THAT WAS KISS.

  • @petercriscuola : sorry gene did not say that. and as far as fact or opinion it's no opinion that carr was a better drummer. if you prefer peter's style that's fine but don't make statements based on YOUR opinion. you like peter better. ok fine. no big deal. peter had a stage charisma carr didn't. i get that. i get why some people prefer peter. but going by facts, carr was the better drummer, hands down. gene even said so on extreme close-up. "buried" peter was his exact quote.

  • @strutter0812

gene said it, and please show me the facts that show carr was better, please i wanna see the facts :)

you believe everything gene said?? lol!! you are funny.

gene said the original line up is the best.

"ALL else pales in comparison to Paul, Peter, Ace and Gene."

    -Gene Simmons.

  • @petercriscuola : let's see, carr was voted the 10th best drummer in rock history. peter wasn't in the top 20. there's my proof moron. and i'm sorry i've seen plenty of interviews with gene and i've never heard him say we tried to find another peter but couldn't and all else compares to the original kiss. LMFAO. EXTREME CLOSE-UP. "eric was a much better drummer, buried peter criss. but it was also a different style of music." PROOF. don't fuck with me on kiss dude.

  • @strutter0812

thats your fact??? lol!! i thought you were better.

if you want the interview where gene says they wanted another peter, let me know and ill send it to you.

  • @petercriscuola : yea that's my fact. many drummers voted for carr saying drummers feel carr was better. can't get any better than that. as for carr being just another 80's drummer, most 80's drummers were better than peter. Well, looks like i have 2 people right here saying i'm right. the reason they don't play many 80's songs is because the 70's was more popular. doesn't mean the 80's songs sucked. my fave kiss songs are 70's songs. i'm not saying the 80's were better. but the 80's were good

  • @strutter0812

if thats your fact, then you are joke! i remember that list!! that list was a fuckin joke!!!

i can show you 10000 polls where carr is not even listed.

carr was not special, he is not consider among the best drummers, other drummer dont even name him as an influence.

he was just good, nothing great, nothing special.çm he was not even the best drummer in kiss, he is behind peter and singer.

  • @strutter0812

i dont agree about the 80s drummers, i prefer the 70s, bonham, criss, moon, michell, paice, peart, etc!!

this is easy, kiss was the biggest band in the world in the 70s, while in the 80s they were just another band following trends playing for 4 thousand people.

  • @petercriscuola : well let's see. guess who was carr's biggest influence and fave drummer? john bonham. he was a HUGE zeppelin fan. that's why he fit in kiss better because he and paul had the same fave band. same heroes. same with ace. ace was a huge jimmy page fan. the link is there you just don't want to believe it. plus carr and singer both are double bass drum drummers. sorry, much better than peter. and GENE even said so on extreme close-up. wtf else do you need?

  • @strutter0812

gene the originals were the best.

gene said they were looking for another peter but they could not find it.

gene then said carr was the best.

gene then said playing with peter again was a rebirth.

you do know that paul didnt want eric right?? he wanted singer becouse he was much better.

you do know that carr was replaced on the elder, animalize and hot in the shade right???

  • @strutter0812

peter was the best drummer for kiss, that why he stay with them.

if gene and paul wanted another drummer they would have pick another one, but no, they wanted peter.

double bass drummers are not better, if you like them its ok.

you should also remember that the best songs are from the 70s and peter was there, not carr, he was just a replacement.

  • @strutter0812 You know what ? ALL the very best KISS songs were Stanley/Simmons songs. WTF..... : )

  • @petercriscuola CARR's better by far. All one has to do is observe ... facts enough for me :

  • @MrLEGIONLIVES

you are wrong there, you have to listen, just put alive! and you wil see that peter was better.

  • @MrLEGIONLIVES : thank you for your support. this guy just seems to be so hung up on peter he refuses to see how great carr was. and singer. in 2004 singer played with 1 bass drum and played peter's parts perfectly. thank goodness he's back with his double bass set and being himself live again. he's amazing as well and buries peter as well.

  • @strutter0812 he's so far up old Petes ASS that Criss has to fart for him to breathe, wouldn't even call him a KISS fan more like a pitiful Pete fan :D

  • @strutter0812

"We tried to find another Peter and really couldn't. "

    gene simmons.

  • @petercriscuola : and like i've said before. peter was a great drummer in the 70's. as good as most top drummers in the 70's but carr was special. i like peter. he was awesome live, much better than on the studio albums. but then i'm sure they just cut basic tracks in the studio in the 70's cuz they didn't have much time to spend in the studio. they went in, recorded the album and out they were starting tour rehearsals. you need to get out of the 70's. 80's had some kool stuff.

  • @strutter0812

carr was not special, he was just another 80s drummer, nothing original in him.

peter was unique, he had an unique style, carr didnt.

  • @petercriscuola : so don't try to feed me some BS that carr had no groove because that's total BS. i play guitar and have for many years, been in a few bands. i know a good drummer when i see and hear one. it's obvious to me you know very little about music itself. carr had plenty of groove. you just have to allow yourself to hear it. you peter fans are so hardcore peter you REFUSE to hear it. like peter, love peter. that's kool. just don't BS me and say carr sucked live.

  • @petercriscuola : get off your peter soapbox. peter was a great jazz drummer but no way in hell can he touch carr or singer. that's just a fact. carr had plenty of groove on songs like tears are falling, forever and hide your heart. and he added so much to detroit rock city, love gun and tons of 70's kiss songs. you need to listen with your ears and not your heart. great, prefer peter but don't be an idiot and say he was better than carr. LMFAOOOO

  • @petercriscuola : because all you do is prove me right. you're biased towards peter and against carr and singer. it's very simple. open your mind and listen to carr. he was amazing. and if you still prefer peter, kool. but no way in hell carr sucked live or at any other time, period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @strutter0812

ok, go listen to asylum, crazy nights and all that crap, ill go listen to alive! and destroyer.

  • @petercriscuola : i will listen to asylum. king of the mountain, any way you slice it, i'm alive, love's a deadly weapon, secretly cruel, radar for love. all kick ass songs. i love the 70's too dumbass. first album and rock and roll over are my fave 70's kiss albums. oh and by the way great expectations is on destroyer and that song SUCKS!!! then she kissed me, weak. there are songs from the 70's that don't make the grade as well. and there are some great songs in the 80's too.

  • @strutter0812

yeah, those songs are great!!! thats why kiss is still playing them live!!

    oooh no... wait a sec!!!

  • Peter would release an LP to this song. It was re-recorded with a piano along with the guitars. There were other good songs on it, like By Myself, which summed up his life at the time. He also did You Better Run, which was also recorded by Pat Benatar. My favorite was My Life.

  • Not a bad song!

  • games people play alan parsons comes to mind

  • @joescout i was gonna say the same damn thing !

  • This song definitely should have been on Dynasty.

If it had of, Peter may have felt better about himself on the Dynasty Tour and probably wouldnt have gotten more into drugs and may have contributed more to KISS then try and go solo. I always wonder what if the original lineup always stayed together. KISS are the best band ever.

  • @Matnificent i think if the original band had stayed together through the 80s they would have died completely. They wouldnt have been able to keep up with the sound of the new 80s heavy metal with Ace and Peter. On top of that, Ace and Peter did not have that rock star look that was so crucial during the 80s glam metal scene...eric carr and bruce kulick did

  • @LordRuehl I think if KISS would've stayed in the direction of side 4 of aliveII and the 4 new songs on kiss killers they would've been just fine, and kept their popularity. The elder nearly tanked the whole thing for them. I personally like all the decades of kiss music even the elder album. But I see your point too, the trend of music and having to grow as musicaians is defenetly important. I have been to every tour since 1983. Seen Paul on his 2007 solo tour also.

  • @01po01po i agree...the sound of the 4 songs on Killers would have been a good sound for them through the 80s

  • @LordRuehl yep=]

  • @LordRuehl are u kidding? they invented 80s glam metal!

  • @charliedontsurf70 they may have had a hand in inventing it..but seriously...compare this or anything on the album Unmaked with Motley Crue or Dokken or Ratt or any other 80s metal sound, and it becomes clear...KISS was not making metal in the early 80s so they would not have been relevant anymore........although i LOVE Unmasked hehe :)
