Line 6 recording interface wins again. As far as covers of this song goes, you set the bar pretty f-ing high. The only thing bad I have to say is that the bass could've had a bit less treble to it, but it still sounds awesome. What settings did u use for the keyboard, too? Also try singing parts of the chorus between clenched teeth. It will help put some sort of passion into the singing. I understand that singing the same parts/song over and over again can make you lose your energy, so you sing it a bit more flatly. I can empathise. See if you can do an 'attempt' when you're a bit higher on energy or when you're feeling active! I love this cover. It's accurate, it has the most detail over every other cover and it has been collated with utmost perfection. Nice job!
Continuing from what I said, you don't have to stay strictly on the beat with the singing. You can hold some parts a bit longer ie: at 'Red tape to keep the truth confined', 'Not force us' and 'Stop degrading us'. Also you can hear that in the original , the singer goes 'They will not *breath* control us'. This break kind of break in the lyrics is what you want to reciprocate in order to make it sound as close to the original as possible (because I'm assuming that's what you want). I have more!
This is a great cover, and it's a wonder that it doesn't have a couple hundred thousand views. I've been critiquing music for a long time (IRL), and I have to say I'm quite pleased with what you have here. If I had to say something, I would say that the singing throughout most of the song is quite flat. It sounds like you're reading the words to the tune. Some more energy would be nice! Also in the original, the singer isn't always in time with the instruments, adding genuinity to it.
But!! it sounds nasal at the beggining and you strain a little in the chorus, but the truth is you can sing it because you have a very similar vocal range as the original singer.
In the high notes, you dont have to strain, if this happens, you doing it wrong and you can damage your voice, cuz the sound should come natural, fluent and relaxed. You should focus your sound in the mouth and feel the vibration of singing and then you're doing well.

This is pretty good, but the vocals kind of ruin the fun. The main thing that turns me off is the fact that I can notice the pitch correction toooooo much, almost sounds like a computer singing! GREAT work though!
hmmm weird, because I don't have any kind of pitch correction plug ins... I did edit the track and some vocal tracks got overlaped. That's why sometimes you can hear some spacey sounds, but I didn't use pitch correction. Thanks for the comment though.

I'm playing a line 6 KB37. It is very useful for recording piano, synths, voice, guitars and bass :)

no I did it by ear. But not perfect. After recording everything I noticed that I made some mistakes in the arpeggios. Unfortunately, I'm not planning on re-doing the song :)

thanks for the comment man! When you listen very closely, you can actually hear them insert the third voice in the second chorus as well. But the fact you would say a thing like that proves that you really listened to my cover and I'd like to thank you very much for your appreciation!

This is pretty good, but the vocals kind of ruin the fun. The main thing that turns me off is the fact that I can notice the pitch correction toooooo much, almost sounds like a computer singing! GREAT work though!

hmmm weird, because I don't have any kind of pitch correction plug ins... I did edit the track and some vocal tracks got overlaped. That's why sometimes you can hear some spacey sounds, but I didn't use pitch correction. Thanks for the comment though.
