  • As an atheist i want to give my input on his year book

  • 00:55 - 1:00 Good, he shouldn't be there to begin with.

  • my friend had his message editted!! the yearbook crew changed "i am Erik" to "i am Lady Gaga"

  • Oy Vey. Even though this kid has clearly drunk way too much religious Kool-Aid, he should be allowed say what he wants in his yearbook. While this is a clear over-reach, Fox news, Hannity specifically, also lumped in legitimate restrictions alongside this incident to make it seem like everything should be allowed, even when it's not simply the student's yearbook quotes.

  • I'm sooooo sick of Christians playing the victim card. What are they persecuting themselves. They have god on the fricken money..COME THE F ON

  • the government cant endorse or STOP religious freedom....me personally i am atheist but this dude has just as much right to express himself religiously. America is getting dumber by the second

  • @BladedArrowTBGamer Thank you, my point exactly my dear :)

  • Seek him at church! Keep your religious bs out of public school.

  • @AlphaBrenda1 Its not like this guy was at school with a cardboard sign that said, "THE END IS NEAR, YOUR ALL GOING TO HELL, REPENT!" Why is it an issue? What becuase you don't believe? He was giving thanks to his GOD. That would be like you giving thanks to your Mom for her support, then we could just tell you, seek her at home, keep you home life BS out of public school.

  • @SiLeNtStOrM07 Its not the same. Your mother is a real person. She also isnt an embodiment of evil like the god of the bible. I wouldnt want that mythic crap all over MY yearbook either. it is OFFENSIVE>! What part do you NOT understand?

  • @AlphaBrenda1 I believe its the same concept my dear, and obviously to the student his GOD is real. Oh yea and theres one thing wrong with your argument, you stated : " I wouldnt want that mythic crap all over MY yearbook either." Yeah, ummm it wasn't ALL OVER anyones year book it was on his own personal space in the year book. Maybe you should do something productive and educate yourself on the First Amendment, so that maybe...just maybe YOU CAN UNDERSTAND.

  • @SiLeNtStOrM07 apprently you believe a LOT of things that simply arent true. ah well. Thankfully I am protected from people like you by the very document you wish would let a theocracy run over the govt. so go cry about it to someone who cares :D

  • @AlphaBrenda1 LMAOOO, first of all SIMPLE MIND this never was about ME, and its not about ME, it was about the VIDEO....remember, uh-huh yea. Second of all, i'm glad you took the time to GOOGLE the first amendment, knowledge is power. Thirdly, I'd like to see you make that same statment you made initially about the video to a group of radical muslims and i guarantee that you would most likely end up some where outlined in chalk and probably even decapitated....baahahahahhaha.

  • @AlphaBrenda1 Oh yea,

    P.S.

You ARE LIVING Proof of ignorant people in America. Toodles Lame Ass. LMFAO

  • What if a Muslim student wants to cite Quranic passages in the yearbook?

What if an atheist students wants to proclaim there is no god in the year book?

What if another student wants to include a picture of the Flying Spaghetti Monster in the yearbook?

It would be fine if you let everyone have his/her own way, not just the Christians.

  • @gupsphoo Just to show how ass backwards the world is, all that shit you listed WOULD be fine. If you paid any attention to the video, they censored his use of GOD in the year book.

    #stopfryingyourbrainwithdrugs

  • @gupsphoo it would be fine that way.. but the uproar over anyone else doing it just wouldnt be allowed. Sad but true.

  • @gupsphoo Newsflash dumbass. America is a CHRISTIAN nation, not a muzzie or atheist shithole. Christians discovered America, Christians named it, Christians established it and built it- FOR CHRISTIANS. Why the fuck are muzzies or atheists in our country anyway?

  • @DarrelfromZeeland You need to understand somthing. This country was founded by people wanting freedom

of religion, they wanted equality for all people, any culture or any religion.

  • @DarrelfromZeeland Read the 1st Amendment, dumbass.

  • @gupsphoo That was written to keep the government out of our churches, moron.

  • @DarrelfromZeeland LOL! So what Jefferson wrote and the Supreme Court decision in "Reynolds v. US" mean nothing, but we should listen to you?

  • @DarrelfromZeeland So you now admit church and state are separate?

  • @MatthewCVR When it was written, America was 100% Christian, except for teepee niggers and newly arrived slaves. Our founders envisioned each of the states having their own official church, which any one wanting to vote or run for office had to belong to, instead of the feds setting one up.

  • @DarrelfromZeeland Thomas Jefferson said "Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shown on man." Benjamin Franklin said "lighthouses are more useful than churches."

  • religion needs to stay the fuck out of school. not everyone in america is as ignorant as you backward christians. adam and eve never existed. the earth is older than 8,000 years old. and jonas never lived in the belly of a whale

  • @gratefulgarcia0137 Your entitled to your opinion, as am I. Not every Christian in the world wanst to hear people like you complain about what and who you don't believe in. Our founding fathers believed in God, and if it were not for them, we would all be oppressed and you would have gotten your head cut off by now :)

  • @SiLeNtStOrM07 Our Founding Fathers did not believe in the Christian "God" they were diests. Educate yourself the information is out there wake up

  • @gratefulgarcia0137 Deists believe in the existence of a god without any reliance on revealed religion, religious authority or holy books... they obviously believed in something, they were entitled to thier own believes as we all should be.

  • @gratefulgarcia0137 Deists believe in the existence of a god without any reliance on revealed religion, religious authority or holy books... they obviously believed in something, they were entitled to thier own believes as we all should be.

  • @gratefulgarcia0137 And look what's happened since we banned God from school- school shootings, drugs, std's, teen pregnancies, gangs, rapes, and juvenile delinquency thru the roof, lower SAT scores, etc. It's the #1 reason why today's kids are fucking worthless.

  • @DarrelfromZeeland About 15% of the US population are atheists, but they only contribute to about 0.2% of US prison population. Think about that, you gullible Christian.

  • @gratefulgarcia0137 Well, no one knows the name of the first humans. The bible has no text stating that the earth is only 8,000 years old, and it wasn't a whale, it was a fish.

  • I personally want to thank Ra for everything. Ra was worshiped for 3000 years and I can see him every time I see the sun. Show me your younger god and maybe I'll believe he affected my life.

This kid is a heretic to his own religion. Jesus said many times he was the SON of God, lesser than God, from God, and NOT God the Father.

This kid doesn't have a clue about his own religion if he thinks Jesus is God.

Jesus must be rolling over in his grave.

  • @TheHigherVoltage ...Jesus is God my friend, and be careful, because Jesus said in John 8:24 - "You will die in your sins, for if you do not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins."

  • @GaryLyons Even if I was a Christian, I would never claim Jesus was God. Jesus made it clear that (1) He was not god. (2) He was less than god. (3) He came on behalf of god.

Sure, there are 3 verses that COULD imply Jesus = God. But there are more than 20 in which Jesus says he's not god. Period.

The Catholics were the first to say Jesus was equal to God in the 4th century with the creation of the "trinity". But it wasn't until TV Evangelicals in the 1950's that Jesus suddenly became God.

  • @TheHigherVoltage ...actually Jesus says that He is God and that if you deny that He is God, you go to hell...Jesus said that He is not the Father, and thats true, Jesus is the Son, and the Son is God, for God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This truthy is revealed in the Old Testament, it has nothing to do with the Catholic church. "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the WORD WAS GOD; and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory." (John 1:1, 14)

  • @GaryLyons

In John 12:49 - Jesus says,"For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me."

In John 14:28 - Jesus says, "I am going to the Father, for My Father is greater than I. "

In Matthew 19:17 - Jesus says,"“Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God."

Just 3 verses in which Jesus clearly makes the distinction between himself and biblegod.

And the bible has EVERYTHING to do with the Catholic Church - they edited and published it in 341 AD.

  • @TheHigherVoltage ...the bible has nothing to do with the Catholic church, but it does have everything to do with Jesus Christ. As far as the scriptures you quoted, He never says that He is not God in any of those. In His humanity He depended on the Father, was subject to the Father and obeyed the Father. Jesus Christ, who is Gos the Son, emptied Himself of His divinity and came in the likeness of man. He even said quite clearly in John 10:30 - "I and My Father are One."

  • @GaryLyons

    (1) If Jesus "emptied Himself of His divinity and came in the likeness of man" how'd he perform the magic tricks?

    (2) Why then does Jesus "beg his father to let the cup pass him"? and say "Father, why have you forsaken me?"

  • @TheHigherVoltage ...Jesus was fully Man and fully God, He was filled with the Holy Spirit. His miracles are by the hand of the living God.

Jesus asked His Father "If it is possible let this cup pass Me, but not as I will, as You will." Jesus was fully Man, He had human weaknesses as a Man, the fullness of God was in Him....Jesus said to the Father, "Why have You forsaken Me.", because Jesus was taking the sins of all humanity upon Himslef and the Father seprarted Himself from Him at that time.

  • @GaryLyons In 341 AD, the Catholic Church collected tens of thousands of small "word of god" books. The Catholics presented and voted on each of these books - and how each verse would read. They ended up choosing 66 books and after all editing was finished, the collection of books were packaged and published as one book called THE BIBLE.

And you say the Catholic Church had nothing to do with the bible?!

You're either uninformed and uneducated - or brainwashed and intellectual dishonest.

  • @TheHigherVoltage ...the Catholic church has absolutely nothing to do with the bible, the Catholic church added 7 books to their bible, they actually have 73 books not 66, the real bible has 66 books. The catholic church has nothing to do with the Old Testament, the gospels or Pauls letters. It is all about Jesus Christ, salvation is in Him, not in the catholic church.

  • @GaryLyons And as far as Jesus being God, I still do not think you have the "proper interpretation" of the bible mythology. If you are right, then why does Jesus continually say he will be seating at the right hand of God? If you were right, shouldn't it be sitting in God's seat?

  • @TheHigherVoltage ...sitting at the right hand of the Father is God's seat....Jesus is not the Father, He is the Son. The Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Father, the Father is not the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is not the Son, BUT the Father is God, the Son is God and the Holy Spirit is God, and these 3 are one.

  • @GaryLyons (CONT) There are so many ways that "true believers" can interpret "god's words" - all claiming THEY are right -- to the point that there's war. Catholics vs Protestants for more than 100 years, for example.

Seems to me that if the bible (or the qu'ran or vedas or any other self-proclaimed "word of god") was actually from god, there would be no room for misinterpretations that lead to wars and genocides.

If your biblegod (or any god) is real, they sure are manipulative assholes.

  • @GaryLyons ooo make believe threats of torture hahahha you have us all shaking .. *eyeroll*

  • if some kid used the word Allah then the word probably wouldn't have been censored...just saying from experience, might not apply to some high schools, the grand majority are hypocrites.

  • Well, this is a good kid. He respects authority and defends the truth, but he is given too much of a platform. He needs experience.

    Liberals suck.

  • Pretty obvious he is in the closet...

  • Your rude.

  • I'm a realist.

  • Eat dirt.

  • High in minerals.

  • That's right, think positive.

  • speak the truth high school dude! ppl need to be more like you, unafraid to do wats right!!!

  • oh shut up. dont comment on this video if your going to be rude

  • great response Uber.

  • I fully support keeping god out of schools, and am an atheist, but it was his personal note, and he should have been allowed to put w/e the hell he wanted in it.

  • @UberN3rdDillon Not everyone wants to read that crap when they flip to it in their yearbook.

  • @witch26071 Then don't read it, i believe we are all given free will, just sayin :)

  • Anthony, you rock! God's awesome! Everyone will see that no matter what happens or anyone says, you will either go to heaven or hell.

  • haha this is just awesome... thank god not your teachers and friends making it possible noooo its god :D

  • God is an asshole. Jesus sucks!

  • i dont get why, he should be whatever he wants, i dont see why he shouldnt be able to say it. also arrogant. saying how god made him so special and crap like that. think about it why would god love him more than any 1 else dosent sound like god to me

  • I'm actually not sure what to say about this. I support keeping religion separate from public schools, but here it seems like he should be able to express that in a personal note. It seems like the school could've put some disclaimer in, one of those "this does not represent the view of this school" things.

  • The first amendment also lets him say that, too.

  • ive been commenting on the separation of church and state all over....

but this is just stupid. he can say whatever he wants, its his dedication.

  • Also, there's this thing called the CONSTITUTION. How about following it.

  • Public School isn't Sunday School. People Have DIFFERENT VIEWS ON LIFE. But your narrow christian conservative minds want to rule the world and push everyone out. YOU are the ones that are silencing US because we think differently from you. What you personally believe in is your right but STOP IMPOSSING IT ON US. We see "God" every which way we look and it is obviosly the Christian God and you know it. You can keep your bull, we don't want any!!!

  • My comments do not stem from bigotry, they stem from education, scientific research and a broadminded view of the world and the people in it. 'Prejudiced'? What is it again that you Christ-fuckers love to spout time and again? Oh yes, "Love the sinner, hate the sin"? Sure, I DESPISE religion, but not the people themselves - they can break from their delusions. 'Exposing myself'? Are you implying that we Atheists are hiding or fearful? You wait and see what the future will bring...

  • No I am gay you fucking freak!

  • Oh, you are so noble. I know who has fought for my right to say that, my husband! And you know what? He says I can say whatever I want.

  • Suck my balls. How about that for the first AMENDMENT?

  • Because just as the clergy is devoted to raping little boys, us atheists are devoted to destroying you faith, toppling your churches and bring about a new phase in human societal development. Simple.

  • That kid is a fucking freak. Shut up about God and Jesus. Gross

  • I am a former atheist who has found the love and grace of our Savior Jesus Christ. This is a brave young man for standing up for what he believes in and for proclaiming the message that everyone needs to hear.

  • I am an atheist and a strong supporter separation of church and state. The school was wrong. Whatever he wrote on his yearbook page should have been his free expression. I think hes deluded to think that a god is responsible for his success, but he certainly should be allowed to express his delusion. As for the school, it should be their responsibility to understand THE LAW AS IT IS STATED. Though, I'm sure whoever decided to edit the text is well embarrased by now.

  • That should be the churches slogan "YOU CANNOT ESCAPE god's love"

  • This kid is hilarious. He tried so hard to whore himself out to 'gods' purpose in so much as someone may choose him to serve. (aka give me a ministry position)~~funny stuff

  • i completely agree with what he said. everyone in school uses the LORD'S name in vain, but if you have faith and express faith, you are centered out and you get in trouble. I make an announcement at school and I said, "Learn more about the LORD" and i get in trouble, but please right now repeat the pledge of allegiance right now. "One nation, under God," and they dont get in trouble. so i think that Anthony is a great guy for expressing his fatith and God should be allowed in school

    GOD Bless

  • Amen man! it is good to know that someone is out their still bold and strong in christ fighting this holy war for all of man kind. i totally agree with everything you said. "may God be the glory!"

  • its bloody fox new...wat do u expect.. its a bloody joke of a channel

  • he talks to much about god

  • Simply mentioning "God" in school is not violating the separation of church and state at all. The student was just expressing his opinion, and that is his right.

  • fuck this ignorant douche bag

  • Yeah. Alan Colmes is a creep...
